“Great little boutique hotel with a good restaurant inside. Rooms are small, but cozy and cool. I would get a suite next time. The best location you could get for an inner city hideaway.” Jul 21, 2007 by
Maria from Danville, VA
“This hotel was a pleasant surprise. The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs.” Jun 21, 2007 by

“The rooftop bar is a must. Also close to Felix which was a good bar. The room was clean and very functional. I would definitely use this hotel again, I like the area.” Jun 3, 2007 by

“This hotel had the best service I have had in several years of traveling! I was disappointed with the air conditioning, but other than that it was an awesome experience!” Mar 1, 2007 by

“Great place to stay if you want to explore Soho - small rooms, but they are well organized, stylish, and very clean. Staff was knowledgeable and attentive, and with the restaurant and roof deck, we could easily spend the whole day on the property.” Sep 7, 2006 by

“I've stayed at some of the "finest" hotels in New York, including the Ritz, Four Seasons, TriBeca Grand, The Muse, SoHo Grand, St. Regis. Some were obviously better than others. But I will tell you unequivocally that 60 Thompson is nothing more than a "want to be" "poser" little hotel. The worst of the worst. First the good: We loved the bellboys! Now the awful: The front desk staff had a condescending, superior, "too hip for you" attitude that made for an exceedingly unpleasant arrival and stay. I've come to expect that kind of vibe from the staff at these boutique hotels, but these women took it to a whole new level. No smile, no eye contact, no help. All their energy was directed at trying to make the guest feel unworthy of them and the hotel. They were almost comical. The room (mine was a king deluxe) was teeny. Again, something I've come to expect from boutique hotels. But come on! I'd take a cot at the Y over this room. And the bed was extremely uncomfortable. Beyond that, every little hiccup could be heard from the adjoining room and hallway- paper thin walls. I could continue with all the things that were wrong with this place, but instead I'll sum up: If you read a good review of 60 Thompson, ignore it. It must have been written by one of the hotel employees. I mean it. I would never stay here again. For any rate. Under any circumstances.” 6 of 7 people found this review helpful.Jul 12, 2006 by

“Modern, yet reserved oasis in Soho with good sized rooms and comfortable beds. The bathroom was spacious with one of the best showers I have experienced in New York. Abundant shopping, dining and activities within a few blocks.” Apr 27, 2006 by
Denise from Evanston, IL
“The hotel is in a wonderful location. It's off the main drag and offers peace and quiet yet is very close to the metro making sightseeing very easy. Our room was very comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel has a very comfortable lounge area to relax in on a raining day and a gorgeous restaurant. I would highly recommend Sixty Thompson.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Apr 26, 2006 by

“We had 2 rooms and 3 person per room. This hotel could not accommodated 3 person. They only had one queen size bed. No room for roll on or cots. It is good hotel but only for single or couples.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 26, 2006 by

“Prime location, in the heart of SoHo and close to the subway. The 2nd floor bar is nice but the rooftop bar doesn't open until May 2006 (for the summer months). The rooms were large and clean and a great bathroom.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 11, 2006 by

“Very well located, near a subway station, several good restaurants and boutiques nearby. A couple of convenience stores 3 blocks away. Would definitely stay again there.” Feb 28, 2006 by
Kevin from Brookline, MA
“Very stylish and comfortable, though small, rooms in a mostly-friendly hotel in a great neighborhood.” Feb 26, 2006 by
Jason from Medfield, MA
“Very hip, good scene at the bar. Staff is very pleasant and mostly knowledgeable. Small rooms that are brand new, well designed, and functional. Somewhat out of the way in Soho.” Feb 24, 2006 by
Barbara from Washington, DC
“I pulled up in front of the hotel and 3 handsome young men clad in navy pea coats with Bluetooth headsets were immediately outside my car. They swept my belongings away and directed me to check in. The room was comfortable, though the dresser drawers did not close properly and the TV had some problems with certain channels. The bathroom was palatial for New York. It was in a fabulous location for romantic walks through Soho. The concierge was delightful and very helpful throughout our stay.” Dec 31, 2005 by
Rochelle from Moorestown, NJ

“Loved this hotel despite a few small things that really did not detract from the great time we had. The staff was very friendly and professional. We were even accommodated with an early check in time. I would be happy to be able to stay here in the future!!” Aug 18, 2005 by

“For Manhattan, the room was spacious (although shower, no tub). Everything was new and clean. Service people were friednly and tried to be helpful, even though they missed a few "facts" enquired about.” Jun 3, 2005 by

“It was my first trip to NYC. 60 Thompson made my stay just right to see & taste a bit of NY in the short 1 day I was there. I want to go back with my wife & daughter and stay there.” Sep 4, 2004 by
Lyra M. from Beverly Hills, CA “The hotel was quite lovely; very clean, very nice, very hip. Small rooms, and no view, but for that price that was not an issue.” Hotel Representatives:
