“Wanted to charge us 20 British pounds for early check in even though rooms were available. Room was worn out not one of the renovated rooms.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 30, 2007 by

“Excellent, polite, attentive and friendly staff, spacious room, nice expansive lobby give the feel of a four star hotel. Didn't dine in the restaurants or even for breakfast as these were quite expensive. There is however a pub just outside the hotel grounds. Downside was the lack of in room safe, and location. Being away from the "free bus" route, to get into London or to the airport one could either 1) take the 4 pound each way "hotel hoppa" service, quite expensive or 2) take the local bus no.222 (every 5-7 min) that leaves from the hotel gates, this takes you to bath road as well as the Houslow west tube station (picadilly line) and takes 20-30min, depending on time of day. If you consider how long it takes to get into LHR to take the tube, the difference is minimal, if any, by taking no.222.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 19, 2007 by

“Hotel was close to airport, clean, nice bedding and towels. We prefer one bed, versus two pushed together. (someone always ends up in the "crack"!) We were only there overnight, but all was fine. For the price we got, I would definitely recommend.” 2 of 3 people found this review helpful.Oct 2, 2007 by

“This stay at the holiday inn London Heathrow was billed as a 3 star hotel, but it far exceeded my expectations. The holiday inn is an excellent choice of hotel near Heathrow.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Jun 19, 2007 by

“My overall experience is great for the star level I have chosen. Next time I'll try to go for a higher star level.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 23, 2007 by

“The bus let us off at a different Holiday Inn; we were told at that Holiday Inn that the correct one was a 10 min. walk away. It was actually a 40 min. walk away--and we were dragging suitcases. Had we been told how far it really was, we would not have attempted to walk. Once we arrived, the hotel was adequate, though isolated. I would not recommend this hotel as an airport hotel, though since it is reachable from the airport, I suppose that justifies calling it an "airport hotel." ” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.May 21, 2007 by

“The location is okay for going to the airport since there is a convenient shuttle. It isn't that convenient for traveling to other places since you first need to take the shuttle to the airport and then travel from there. We paid extra for an executive room upon check-in however the a/c was not working and our room was downgraded since no other executive rooms were available. The second room was okay but the first one was nicer.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Apr 19, 2007 by

“The hotel is not 'at' Heathrow. It is a bus ride away from the airport - which takes fifteen minutes and costs 4 pounds per customer -- if you are with more than two people; it is cheaper to take a cab. The computer was 'down' when we arrived and the hotel staff asked everyone who arrived to wait. The wait was more than 1/2 hour before we finally left to go into London. More than twenty people waited that entire time and the hotel had no system for booking people or keeping track of the order in which people arrived. Staff seemed stunned and unable to respond to even simple requests without checking with a manager.” 2 of 2 people found this review helpful.Feb 24, 2007 by

“This hotel was my favorite of the four I stayed at during my trip abroad. It has a festive, fun and friendly atmosphere. The staff was incredible. The amenities were easy to use, like the internet and the gym, and were available. I will definitely stay there again and will recommend.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 22, 2007 by

“I was first checked into a room that was already occupied, then a dirty room, and then our keys didn't work 3 times. We ere not offered anything for our incontinence. I would not stay here again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jan 15, 2007 by

“The room is very nice and tidy and the lobby makes you feel like you are arriving at a much more luxurious hotel than reality. This hotel is set a short way from the main airport drag and you will have to allow a little longer reaching any facilities. Arriving late will make it difficult to park and expensive.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 26, 2006 by

“Very nice hotel. I wish they had more free TV channels. Beds were great, just minutes from the airport via the hoppa. Would stay there again.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Dec 24, 2006 by

“Great location for flying out of Heathrow on an early flight. Wait times in the lines were horrible along with a terrible attitude by the front desk personnel. Also the wait time for the bus that would take you to this property exceeded 30 minutes at the airport (tricky to find the spot if you do not know the airport). Room was nice and well appointed.” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Oct 2, 2006 by

“Very nice rooms with all the amenities you would expect. Room service provides a huge breakfast but as with most heath row hotels, there is a parking charge and this hotel is set a little way from the airport.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Jun 26, 2006 by

“I only stayed one night at the hotel with my spouse and twenty something son but our stay was satisfactory and represented good value for money.” Jun 3, 2006 by

“The staff accommodated my request for an extra sofa bed and were very friendly and knows a lot about the area and helped in getting us around using the nearest bus and tube stations.” May 23, 2006 by

“I was impressed with how modern it is, especially since it looks like a prison from the outside. But we got a good deal and it was very comfortable.” Apr 14, 2006 by
Nasser from San Benito, TX
“Great location adjacent to Heathrow airport. Huge hotel (over 600 rooms). Hotel restaurants and pubs have extremely high prices. A few nice pubs and restaurants within easy walking distance. Good comfortable room. Efficient check-in and checkout.” Apr 8, 2006 by
Rich from Broadview Hts, OH
“Be sure to include breakfast in your deal as the every day low price for breakfast is L15.00 ($26.00)Hotel personnel while friendly do not seem to know much about London, and bad information even on fundamental issues is freely given. No free shuttle, the bus to heathrow $5.00 each way, taxie $15.00. but the accommodations are in the finest Holiday Inn I have seen.” Mar 13, 2006 by
Elisa from Towson, MD
“I liked everything about this hotel except the internet access was too expensive.” 1 of 1 people found this review helpful.Feb 26, 2006 by

“Conveniently located, a short ride (Pds10) by taxi from terminal 4 LHR. Excellent rooms for grade of hotel. Check in quite speedy. Excellent buffet providing a good choice of dinner food. Also accessible by Hoppa Bus (Pds3 per person) to Terminal 3 and then free 4 minute train ride to terminal 4.” Oct 7, 2005 by
Judy from Northwood, NH
“I stayed here in June and loved it then also. It has a very nice fitness center. The rooms and all the other areas are also well kept and clean. The staff is very helpful and willing to assist with any questions. ” Sep 23, 2005 by
David from Westfield, NJ
“I was given a room in the first floor which had no functional air conditioning and no windows that could be opened. The room was terribly hot. When I complained a fan was sent to me, but it was extremely noisy and obviously not in good condition. I was able to avoid its terrible vibrations and noise by pieces of papers and towels and fell asleep around 3:00 AM. At 4:00 AM I received a wake up call which was probably requested by the previous guest of that room. When I left the hotel, I requested to talk to its management, but my request was politely refused by the receptionist. ” 0 of 1 people found this review helpful.Aug 31, 2005 by

“Arrived at hotel at approximately 11:30 pm. Check in was quick and easy. Front desk clerk upgraded us to Executive room. Nice room, comfy bed, 24 hour room service. Very convenient to the airport. Would definitely stay again!” Aug 23, 2005 by

“If you want to stay close to Heathrow why not but don't stay there for quality because there is none” Aug 22, 2005 by
Atina from Brooklyn, NY
“The chief advantage of this hotel is its location, and the van service to Heathrow.” Aug 17, 2005 by
Jacob from San Jose, CA
“Had to wait until 10:30pm for the room. It appears they rent the rooms by the hour. As it is close to the airport this is understandable, but they should manage a buffer. The rooms are excellent, once you get them.” Aug 8, 2005 by
John from Cedar, MI
“For quick overnight stay was perfect. Difficult to find entrance even though hotel is very visible from M4/M25/A4.” Aug 6, 2005 by
Shirley from Austin, TX
“Convenient location near motorway and airport; rooms very spacious with 2 double beds, quiet and air conditioned; large bathroom with thick towels and good water pressure in shower; ate dinner in brasserie, good quality, L15 per person; parking charge L7 per night for guests. Good value, would not hesitate to stay here again.” Aug 4, 2005 by
James from Coral Springs, FL
“Nothing specific to report” Aug 4, 2005 by

“This is a good place to avoid--the worst example of the franchise of which I have personal knowledge. It should be renamed the Holiday Inn Eldorado: you feel like you've struck gold just by finding it. If you miss the cunningly-concealed and un-signposted entrance, you immediately wind up back on the motorway...the next off-ramp to reverse course is fifteen miles away. When we finally located the hotel, my wife and I were first given a room that had not been cleaned in any way since the departure of the previous occupant--wet towels on the unmade bed--and then steered to another one in which half the lights and appliances did not work, the bathroom sink was choked up, and the toilet wouldn't flush properly. ” Jul 6, 2005 by
Otto from Rancho Santa Fe, CA
“Generally pleasant experience.” Jul 5, 2005 by

“Standard hotel for the money. Neither good or bad, but doable for a one night stay for convenience.” Jun 28, 2005 by
Judy from Northwood, NH
“The airport bus stops right at the door. The room was not ready but they offered me a coupon for a drink. The room was very nice and clean. The breakfast was satisfactory but pricey (15# = $27.30 US)” Jun 22, 2005 by
Lola from Brookline, MA
“On the whole it provided decent value for the money I bid. My initial stay was without incident and the room was fine, but on my second stay, I was given a room that had not been cleaned after the previous guest left. Since it was the only non-smoking room left available, I had to make numerous phone calls and wait at least an hour and a half for it to be satisfactorily cleaned. I was not happy with this.” Jun 21, 2005 by
Lyle from Mason, OH
“This is one of THREE Holiday Inns at Heathrow, and one of TWO on "Sipson" -- one is on Sipson Road (our hotel) and the other is on "Sipson Way." Our taxi driver took us to the wrong one.” Jun 20, 2005 by
Denia from Rochester, NY
“The quality of the hotel was good. Room was comfortable although some information was unclear. Too far from downtown if you are looking for a long stay-sightseeing hotel but if you are staying overnight this is a great option. ” Jun 8, 2005 by
Mary from Las Vegas, NV
“After getting off tube at airport w/luggage, at midnight we arrived lost, not knowing where to find hotel. We checked hotel's website and it said it was 0 miles from subway. We found a gentleman who got us on a city bus and told us there were 3 Holiday Inns at Heathrow!!! He looked at our address and since he has worked out there for 20 years, he said he knew which stop to tell us to get off at. We went to the wrong location and when checking at front desk, the girl was rude and unhelpful. She told us we would have to get a cab to the other Holiday Inn which cost us 13 pounds (about $25 US). It was after 1 p.m. before we got in room---hungry and tired. We called room service and they had nothing left on their limited late night menu that we could eat, so we gave up and went to sleep. We had to leave for airport by 6 a.m. and went outside and the shuttle pulled away (without us). We went in and told the front desk gentleman our dilemna and he assurred us another one would be there within 20-30 minutes. We were running late and so he asked the shuttle driver for the British Air employees to take us, which was very nice. However, we did not quite understand his instructions on getting to the other terminal and almost missed our flight.” Hotel Representatives:
