- The price was good for Boston, it was clean, modern and the staff was very nice.
- No parking, no bathtub, Spartan in terms of amenities (extra pillows, etc.) And location in financial district not great for leisure travel.
“I have stayed in club quarters before and they are great for the business traveler (when the wireless access works, which it did in Boston.) As extended stay for business it would get fine.”

- The room was very efficient.
- The hotel staff was not very knowledgeable about the city and surrounding area.
“Clean efficient room although a bit small by most standards. Excellent location, the hotel is within walking distance of the majority of downtown Boston. Some of the staff should know more about their own city or be more forthcoming with the information.”

- Temperature in all of the public areas was too cold.
“Club Quarters is a good choice if you are spending time visiting the downtown Boston attractions and does not want to pay the price of other hotels offering more amenities. The hotel provides all of the items you need, but doesn't come with the extras.”

- Excellent location; well maintained; nice den area with 2 computers for internet access; comfortable room.
- Can't think of anything.
“This hotel is an excellent value for what it provides: comfort, great amenities and a central location. I did not spend much time in the room but whatever time was spent was enjoyable and comfortable. Free access to the gym and bottled water was provided. If I were to get a similar rate I would definitely come back.”

- The location it was close to all.
- Paper thin walls you can hear a lot of what was being said in the hallways and room.
“Great for the money fantastic location close to all. The restaurant is not worth the money. The room was overall pretty good. The staff was attentive. Overall it was a great hotel for the price. The downside is you can hear almost everything that is going on outside in the hall way the cleaning staff is busy cleaning and slamming doors etc but at least its not at night time. You can also hear what going on next door to you loud and clear. If you have considerate neighbors who dont make too much noise when they come in at night it should be quiet after 10 minutes or so again. Overall it was great for the price at got it for. Id stay there again just for the convenience of the location.”

- Slow elevators! No irons in the rooms!
“It is located very close to public transportation, as well as shopping and historical sights. The rooms are small, but clean. This is not a fancy hotel by any means, but was fine for just spending the weekend.”

“Perfect for our purpose of a little getaway weekend to Boston for my husband's birthday. We had a great time and the location worked well you can walk to Quincy market/ Faneuil hall, etc. And the t is nearby too. Nice pub attached for drinks/food. Def recommend this place nothing ritzy about it but clean, nice, comfortable.”

- The hotel was in a good location.
- The hotel did not have parking.
“Overall, I found this hotel to have lacked many things that I expect when traveling. The hotel did not offer car parking or valet services; the rooms were extremely small and only offered one full size bed. The bathroom was adequate as were the bathroom amenities. I found the front desk staff to be unhelpful when asked questions and not overall friendly. I doubt that I would stay at this hotel again.”

- Rooms (2 twin beds), small bathrooms, no real amenities; not a 'typical' hotel.
“Good location but be prepared, this is not your typical hotel. Cannot bring drinks from adjacent restaurant to lounge area. Rooms small and marginally comfortable. Good for a quick 'in & out' visit, but don't expect the amenities of your typical hotel. Well below the 3 star hotels.”

- It is not a hotel but a dorm for adults, not even a full size shower.
“Club quarters are a concept whereby individuals or corporations lease space to be used by business travelers. They open their doors to non club members on weekends. The problem is that they are not a hotel. The shower was so small that it difficult at best to use. I am not a large person and I found it uncomfortable. This particular property was in the financial district. Thus, many basic necessities (restaurants etc.) Were not open on the weekend.”

- It was a roof over our heads.
- Small rooms. Dirty sheets. Rude staff. King was two twins pushed together.
“This hotel was one of the worst I have ever been to. I did not get what I wanted the first, second, third, or fourth time a requested. The sheets were dirty. The rooms were small! The man at the front desk was rude and lied. Their "queen" is a full and their king is two twins pushed with a dirty king sheet and comforter on it.”

“Hotel is in the best location possible. 5 minute walk from anything you could possibly want to see. Bar next door has great food and better beer. Rooms are small, but have everything you would need. I would advise a family with kids that need a lot of space to go to a different hotel. Clean, great staff, huge parking discount, and close to everything.”

- Bath towel could be softer.
“Overall my stay at club quarters was very nice. Staff is professional and courteous. My room had a small kitchenette which was great. Granite countertops, cherry cabinets. High quality flat screen. Lots of desk space, accessible outlets and internet access, wireless and Ethernet. This is a great hotel for personal or business adults. Location in Boston cannot be beat, right in the middle of all the sights, walking distance to everywhere!”

- For downtown Boston, the price could not be beat!
- The only bad part is downtown hotels do not have parking. It cost another $38.00 per day for parking.

- The location is convenient to subway and Quincy market.
- The staff is aloof to the point of rudeness. Our room was not clean. We found macaroni in the bed.
“The price was good, but the staff was aloof and unfriendly. One bed was not clean when we arrived. (macaronic in the mattress!!!!) They gave us another room, but with a weak apology and no offer of compensation or complimentary. If this happened to you, would you stay here again? this was our first bad experience with a room booked. All others have been great.”

- It is a very convenient hotel concept. You are in and out in no time. This hotel is best suited for business travelers.
- The only thing that was not so good only two bath towels, one wash cloth and one small towel in the bathroom. They could do with an additional set.

- Excellent location. A block away from Boston commons and the downtown shopping district.
- The staff seldom offered a smile. They seemed to know absolutely nothing about the city either.
“When they coined the phrase "location, location, location", they must have been prophesizing this hotel. It's central in the business district, which could be rather annoying for the non-business-traveler during work hours, but means one will be left in peace on the weekend. It's a stone's throw away from shops and the park (commons). For the economical rate (in comparison to other Boston rates) and location, it's fairly worth it; but don't expect the tag.”

- On the night we stayed there was a karaoke session in the hotel bar that lasted until past midnight. Our room was above the bar and sleep was disturbed.
“If you are on business then the hotel is for you. If you are seeking a romantic getaway then look elsewhere. Rooms are on the small size and very clinical rather than comfy or romantic.”

“I did not like this hotel. I realize it was a hotel for business people. I was there for a business meeting. I did not feel welcome. The room was very Spartan and had no place to put anything. You had to balance everything on one of the chairs that had a big wide arm. It was in a wonderful location.”

“Our room was clean and adequate though small, especially the shower facilities. It was conveniently located as far as the T stops and shopping. Nice restaurant attached however breakfast was a buffet only so for just a coffee and muffin it was off to Dunkin Donuts.”

- The rooms had a very modern look.
- The staff was not familiar enough with other parts of the city, i.e., restaurant recommendations popular areas.
“Overall, the hotel was in a good location and had nice rooms. In our room the curtains blocked the sunlight incredibly well, so that sunrise did not awaken us. My two complaints are: there was a long wait to catch one of the two elevators in the hotel and the staff couldn't recommend restaurants in the popular areas, such as Little Italy.”

“I encountered exactly one friendly, helpful staff person (the one who fixed the error made so the room key could activate). Check in and check out was a pain since they rely on an automated system that wasn't working properly and they only had 2 people staffing the desk who were not very quick. Use the elephant and castle as a beer source only. The fish and chips was edible, nothing else was. Other than that, the location is good, it's one of the quietest downtown hotels Iżve ever stayed in, and it's clean. Many services for business travelers who Iżm sure are quite comfy there. It was a bit cramped for two and the bathroom did not lend itself to sharing. . Leave this one for the business travelers.”

- The proximity to Faunal Hall was great.
- The rooms are small with absolutely no ambiance.

- Location, location, location!!
- I can't think of a single thing to complain about.
“Checking in to the hotel at 3am was no problem at all (called ahead to make sure they would save my reservation). The staff was friendly and courteous. There were computers and printers available at no cost which was very handy for that last minute internet map search for directions home. The rooms were very clean. Great movies available in room (even films still playing in theaters), discounted parking (20% off at the 33 Arch Street garage), and a location that can't be beat. Would definitely stay here again!”
