• Hotel was located in a good section, close to Fenway Park.
• Our room was a little on the smaller side and the bedding needing updating.

“The staff was wonderful and friendly, great room, nice view from the 26th floor. I have only two minor complaints - noticed that room service trays sat in the hall for many hours and there was no computer available for guests to use, either free or paid.”

• Trolley passes are available for purchase at the hotel, and the trolley picks you up at the front door.
• Parking is very expensive. Non valet was $30 a day.

“Parking was very expensive. $30/day for non valet. Other than the shock of the price of parking, the hotel was what I expected. Tickets for a trolley tour of Boston can be purchased in the lobby and we were picked up at the front door. The location is good with many restaurants and shopping in the area. I would recommend this hotel to anyone heading to Boston. But I would warn them about the parking!”

“Once again it was just great. The staff was awesome. We traveled with someone in a wheel chair and had 2 rooms. I called the hotel and they arranged for a connecting door between the rooms and were kind enough to upgrade us to give us a little more space with 3 children under 4 and 11 year of that was a life-saver. The staff is and always has been super nice to us.”

• Great location; you can walk to many attractions.
• I made the mistake of parking in the wrong parking garage and was charged much more than if I had noticed there was separate hotel parking.

“Other than parking in the wrong garage, and then being charged a bit much, the stay was nice. Starbucks is right above the lobby and there is even a grocery store across the street.”

“The Marriott at Copley Place is a beautiful hotel, with everything you could ever need. It's clean, the staff is friendly, and the sushi bar has a great spicy tuna roll! Overall, the hotel was exactly what I was looking for.”

• The location was amazing. close to everything.
• The room was quite small for a 4 star hotel. The bathroom was tiny.

“Despite the mini bathroom, the view of Boston was nice. The flat screen TV in the room was also a nice addition. The bedding was quite comfortable. I'm not sure I believe it's what a 4 star hotel should be, but I would definitely go back because of the price and location.”

“Very nice room. The hotel is centrally located in Copley Square. Quick check -in and quick check - out. We stayed here the night of our wedding, and it was a great choice. Very quiet. Room service was nice too.”

• I love the fact that it is attached to a shopping mall.
• They charge too much for parking!

“Great location, close to lots of fun things and attached to a mall so if the weather is bad you can still be entertained. Many good places to eat close by and an upscale urban grocery store located across the street is an added bonus!”

• The room and view was just as expected.
• I didn't see the coffee maker until we were checking out. It was hidden in the closet.

“I was disappointed that I didn't get the Westin, but happy after I saw the room. It was beautiful and just what I wanted for my birthday weekend. The lobby was bright and crowded with conference members checking in- not exactly elegant but it was fine. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet in the hotel- the food was good, but not great ambience. I found myself spending more time at the Westin for food and bars.”

“If you want to be in the middle of it all, this hotel is terrific. There are Subway stations for several lines within a block one is even a tunnel away, allowing for full-city access with ease. The rooms are normal, the windows don't open. There were no surprises, good or bad.”

• Great location downtown, beautiful swanky room, breathtaking view.
• No bathrobe. Concierge couldn't understand why we wanted to know cheapest travel option.

“This hotel was in the perfect location in Copley Plaza, the middle of everything in Boston. The room was gorgeous, one of the upper floors on the south side- and we could see for miles. Everything was spotless. We felt like we were living in the lap of luxury. We got way more than our money's worth here. Only a 20 minute $20 cab ride to the airport, too.”

• Check in time was late in the day.

“This hotel was very nice, in a great location right close to downtown Boston. The rooms were big and the pool/sauna were great (although full of children when we were there). We ordered a bottle of champagne but it never came, so that was disappointing. But overall, it was a great place to stay. And right across the street from a mall and a grocery store. Location excellent!”

• The room they gave us had such a loud air conditioning system that I could not sleep even with earplugs.

“The bed is great. The location is convenience. You have a mall and a supermarket nearby. However, the check-in line is long. The wait for elevators is also long. The lobby is crowded and at times felt like a bus terminal. The parking is expensive.”

• Concierge service was overloaded.

“The location was close to Newbury Street Shops and restaurants, the HUB of where the new Boston meets. My room was perfect for a single senior traveling through. There were literally hundreds of terrific places to get meals at all price ranges and lots of choices for entertainment.”

• 1 of the men at the concierge table was unfriendly & not helpful.

“This hotel has an excellent location with great shopping (walkway to Prudential Center & Shaw's across the street). All of the staff were very helpful & friendly (except for 1 concierge who was rude) to a family with small children. The rooms were a little small but who stays in the room all day on vacation? We had an excellent view of Charles River and will come back.”

• I have stayed here several times and it looks like they have updated the rooms and all the carpets. Great place for a Boston experience.
• No complaints.

“If you are looking for a Boston experience, the Marriot is in a great location. There is plenty to do in the area. You can walk to the South End for delicious drinks and dining. Copley Square, Trinity Church, the Boston Public Library are footsteps away.”

• Convenient location.
• The room was not vacuumed prior to my arrival or during my stay. And the bed sheets weren't changed during my stay. And the in-room fridge didn't work.

“The hotel is conveniently located in Copley Place which if you like to shop is a good location. The hotel itself is a typical Marriott establishment. The room itself isn't dirty per se, but the carpets need to be vacuumed and bed sheets changed more often.”

“I called the Marriott Copley weeks before my arrival to request a feather-free room because of my allergies. The room had all feather bedding when I arrived. When I asked the staff for either a new room which was feather-free or to remove the feather bedding they refused. I went up three levels of management and finally had to threaten to remove the bedding myself before they agreed to remove the feather bedding.”

“This is a wonderful hotel in an outstanding location in Boston. We did not have a car and were able to get around fine without it. If you want to do the duck tours they are right across the street. We went up to the 50th floor of the neighboring tower and had drinks and a spectacular view. Highly recommend and would stay again.”

• Hard to get to, bath tubs need upgrading.

“The concierge was very helpful. The room was nice, everything was great in except the bed linens were slightly askew and the bath tub is in a great need of an upgrade, which was strange because the bathroom itself is very new and nice. Lobby can be confusing to navigate with a stroller. Not sure if I would stay again at this hotel.”

• Rooms were relatively small and nothing special.

“The location is excellent and the staff was helpful and prompt. The rooms are on the smaller size, although the small amount of space is used very well. Bathroom is very tiny and hard to maneuver. Not really a four star hotel, more like a 3 or 3 and 1/2 star hotel. The amenities are great, but the rooms are lacking.”

“For the price, it was ok. The hotel turned out to be a typical hotel for business travelers, a bit gray and anonymous, the hotel pool was small, altogether the atmosphere was very 80's. Nobody was particularly friendly. However, it was clean and the value for the price was ok.”

• Loved the location. Right across from the Duck Tour. Kid loved the big TV.
• No continental breakfast. Long time to wait at elevators.

“This hotel was just beautiful! The staff was friendly. The room was really nice. Loved the beds and the TV. We had a great view of the city from our window. It was located in the center of everything. I felt safe parking my car they because they check the trunk before they let you into the Garage. Cost 30 dollars to park for the night. Not that high when you consider you pay that much to park for the SOX games. Still I would not mind some sort of discounted parking for staying at the hotel.”
