• This hotel was beyond my wildest expectations ! Our room was beautiful, the view was breath taking ! The staff was extremely polite.

• Distance of parking lot - 3 elevator rides away; difficulty in getting into Center City.

“The woman at the front desk initially sent me to a suite that contained only a single cot. I had asked for at least one double bed. However, a charming gentleman corrected her mistake immediately and all was well. Public areas lacked a sense of drama (I expect that at 4 star levels) and finishes were worn in public areas (i.e. nicks in woodwork etc). Carpets in hallways were sprinkled with litter at all times. But for the price, it was great!”

• The views were great, the ambiance was excellent, especially outside seats.
• It was great!

“I was traveling alone and felt safe at all times. The hotel staff greeted me promptly and courteously. My room was squeaky clean with excellent views. I especially liked the leather lounge chair with matching ottoman right next to the window for viewing the Delaware river activity. The Ben Franklin Bridge was lit up at night. The food was excellent in the restaurant. Great experience.”

“Enjoyed our stay overall. The location was convenient. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants and giving directions. It was nice to park the car and walk or take the public transportation everywhere.”

• Everything was fantastic! Each staff member was helpful and friendly. Service was outstanding! Great location for us, too.
• The parking garage is a little hike from the hotel. But the price was fair!

“We are Hyatt passport members. So we were thrilled to have a guest room at an amazing price. We would love to stay here again. In fact, I told my husband that we should write a letter to Hyatt's corporate office complimenting their Philadelphia hotel staff!”

• Luxurious, top-of-the-line Hyatt experience.
• Needed more towels in room, forgot to replace coffee in room.

“Staying that Hyatt Penn's Landing was a great experience - everything that one would expect from a great Hyatt hotel. The staff was excellent (a couple of minor foibles from housekeeping), the layout and decor was terrific and the hotel, itself, could not have been in a more convenient location for tourism. We ate at the ground floor cafe' because it was raining out, and couldn't have enjoyed it more - the food and service was excellent and a good value. Everything was super.”

“Hotel was great. Beautiful views and great location to all historic places in Philly. Great place for a drink on the back terrace. Highly recommend. Only downfall was parking.”

• It was located right on the Delaware River and within walking distance to Olde City Philadelphia.
• Restaurant prices were overly expensive in the hotel.

“You are treated like a King and Queen at this hotel. The room was gorgeous and being right there on the waterfront was fantastic. Overall, we had a great time. Overall I would give it a 10 out of a possible 10.”

• Great fitness center! Rooms are fantastically decorated. I wish my bedroom looked like this.
• Lots of extra, hidden costs. $21 for parking. Extra $3 charge for having food delivered to room. 19% extra, required gratuity.

“The room was comfortable and the views of Philadelphia were beautiful however. The left over makeup (or whatever it was) on the accent pillows on the bed was kind of skeezy / especially for a 4star hotel.”

• Easy access and parking, beautiful, roomy rooms and views, great staff.
• Expensive on-site parking.

“Great Philly Hotel. Great quiet location. Has that get away feel, yet still close enough to everything in the city. Beautiful river views, walking distance to parks, restaurants, and a short walk to all the amenities of Old City and 2nd Street nightlife. I've stayed at this Hyatt twice and it was absolutely wonderful and highly exceeded expectations.”

• The hotel was extremely nice and the staff was very friendly. It was quite comfortable.
• The toilet was leaking in the middle of the night and the shower did not have good water pressure the next morning.

“All in all it was a very nice stay and I liked the hotel and it severed its purpose. The staff was friendly enough and I would recommend it.”

• I liked the view from the room - the George Washington Bridge - I liked the prompt service -.
• Bathroom had mold in the vent and bathroom floor needed to be cleaned more thoroughly.

• Very noisy next to freeway and major street.

“Overall, the hotel was as expected for a Hyatt. The rooms were nice, though in typical Hyatt style a bit too dark. The location was great in that it was in reasonable walking distance to Philadelphia's primary historical sites. Being right next to the freeway and a major, busy road the rooms were quite noisy even on the upper floors where we were located. Kept us awake at night. The restaurant was typical, but the service for breakfast was so slow it caused us to seek other options for other days.”

• It was a solid hotel, nice, no major complaints.
• It did not strike me as a 4 star hotel & we got stuck in a double bed for our anniversary.

“I wanted a king -size bed and if I could get a river view. But we were given a room with a double bed. This was a big disappointment for our anniversary weekend. It was a huge disappointment.”

• The room seems to be recently redone & the bed was comfortable.
• Room near elevator - could hear noise all night - room was never cool though set at 60 degrees.

“Check-in was smooth - given room on 18th floor on request - next to elevator -ugh! loud around 2 am in hallways- room was lovely but never quite, got cool though set at 60 degrees - extremely great value for price.”

“Upon check out, the lines were 8 deep and 1 front desk workers (at that time - pathetic for Hyatt). Staff was very friendly and prompts otherwise. $14 for a drink at the bar.”

“The hotel and its staff was very nice. Clean and for the most part not a bad place to stay but sadly it is near only a few items. So if you have business in Penn's Landing it is a nice location but outside of that area I would not recommend it.”

• The location was great. Right on the Delaware River, and close to the Double Decker Bus/Trolley, and Historical Philadelphia.
• For a 4 star and a Hyatt, the cleanliness of the room was poor. Never dusted, despite asking everyday for 3 days, dust on the coffee maker.

“Although there are similar quality hotels closer to the center of Center City, I thought the Hyatt at Penn's Landing was really nice. My daughter and I were able to walk to dinner at both the Chart House, and City Tavern, and could easily access the various modes of transportation. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant, while a bit pricey, had a nice menu and was very comfortable. My only complaint was that the room had not been dusted in days, as evidenced by the build-up on the coffee maker. I asked daily that the room be dusted, but it never happened, even when housekeeping personally visited to discuss my concern. I expect more from a Hyatt.”

• Rooms were very nicely decorated and comfortable. the views were spectacular.
• Hotel is separated from downtown by I95.

“The hotel is very nice. It looks like it was just remodeled. The rooms were modern with flat screen TV's and done with a blue grey tone. The hotel is convenient for travelers going to the historic district or Penn's Quarter. It is separated from center city by I95, but there are walkways over the freeway that connect the hotel. The hotel is a little far from city hall and the rotten house area, so if you need to be close to the office towers around rotten-house this isn't the hotel to stay at.”

• A little too far from tourist areas to walk alone at night.

“My wife and I loved this hotel. Everything was very clean and comfortable. The staff was attentive. The only downside I can point out is that although the hotel is near Philadelphia's historic center, some of the area between the hotel and there is not the most safe area. Don't plan to walk to the center, despite its proximity, especially at night.”

• The hotel room was updated, the decor was outstanding. However, the hotel lacked a full size mirror in the room.

“The only complaint is that there wasn't a full size mirror. In my case I was there on leisure travel and found a full size mirror on the 3rd floor, quite the inconvenience. However, I am sure the hotel is used for business, and I would consider that to be any inconvenience.”

• Very nice room (nice furniture, decoration) and convenient location in Phila.
• The noise from the highway is still disturbing. Also we waited too long to get our food at the hotel's restaurant (the restaurant was almost empty).

“The hotel has very nice rooms, with a trendy decoration. The location on Penn's landing is very attractive (nice view, walking distance to historic city center). However, rooms located at higher floors (above 15) are quieter. The noise from the highway is still very strong on lower levels (we stayed at level 10). Also, the restaurant has nice food but we waited very long to get it (even for the breakfast plates).”

• The price was comparable with the room.
• Ventilation was Lackluster for a 4 star hotel, just didn't rate as a 4 star.

“The staff was excellent and the hotel was clean, but I would have been very disappointed if we had paid any more for these 2 rooms. The room was small and was furnished with inexpensive modular furniture. This is not what Hyatt Regency used to be!”

• The room had a contemporary design.
• I stay in 4-star hotels often and the sheets were not up to par with the other hotels.

“Sharp hotel, sharp room but the last thing you feel at night is the sheets. Right before you go to sleep and the last thing you remember is the feel of the sheets. Well, the sheet on my bed were prickly. They had them little balls you get when you have cheap sheets and wash them. If they get the sheets right the place will be fantastic.”

• The rooms were beautiful, and the pool area was attractive, both with a pretty view of the river.
• There was noisy construction going on inside the hotel, but it seemed to stop at a reasonable hour.

“This hotel was convenient to Downtown and the bridges to N.J. The rooms were contempory with a bit of luxury and a beautiful view of the river. They were replacing the blinds during my stay and the hallways were filled with boxes and there was a bit of noise. The front desk staff/valet was attentive and professional. The breakfast buffet was average but the service was below average.”

• Loved that it was on the water and within walking distance of an interesting part of Philadelphia always love to go out running when I am staying here.
• Further than I would have liked from the museums.
