• Staff gave us a coupon for parking when they didn't have the room requested.
• No indoor pool, high parking fees $15/day.

“Beautiful hotel-never been disappointed in the rooms or hotel of a 3 star, nice staff, no indoor pool, expensive food, no free breakfast (family's need this), college area-lots of drinking in and around hotel. Many nice restaurants and stores nearby. High parking cost $15/day.”

• Front desk people had excellent information about area and happy to share also the wifi worked well.
• Some drilling noise then the had front desk checked and assured it would end by 6 p.m. and it did.

“Facilities seemed a bit tired, but the room and hotel were clean and functional. I appreciated the little touch of the power strip on the desk which enabled chargers, etc to be plugged in without floor crawling and lamp unplugging. Wifi worked well in the room. The people at the front desk were excellent, accurate and helped to give information in a friendly way.”

• It was very close to the university of Pennsylvania and in a good neighborhood.
• The hotel seemed a little less fancy than expected form the Sheraton name.

“It served my purpose as it was very close to the unit of Pennsylvania. The location was good. I checked-in at 11pm-but that was ok. The room had a personal desk top computer with free internet access! The room was big with 2 double beds, the bathroom was good-toiletries were provided.”

• Staff was friendly; rooms were spacious and quiet, close to the subway.
• Bottom sheet didn't fit bed and kept bunching up; lame fitness centre.

“Close to the trolley, subway, regional rail and University, this hotel is also a pleasant 30 minute walk from Downtown Philadelphia. Spacious, quiet rooms offer city views and include a small fridge and HDTV. Friendly and helpful staff.”

“I attended a concert nearby and needed a place to stay overnight. The hotel was located close to the concert and within walking distance of the 30th Street station (I traveled by train). It's at the Drexel University campus area so it is very convenient for college-aged parents. Safe, good area; great experience.”

“We needed to stay in the university area, so it was the best option geographically. The room was really dirty and very small, the mattresses are old and uncomfortable, the pillows are polyester foam, and the heating unit was extremely loud. Definitely more like a 1 star hotel rather than a 3 star as they claim.”

• It location was excellent to where I needed to go.

“The hotel is great if you are taking the USMLE step 2 CS exam as the test center is about a 5 min walk away. Besides that, I do not feel it is worth the 4 star prices I paid to stay in it.”

• Very Quiet and clean.
• We got plastic cups to replace glass ones on day two.

“The Hotel was close to a hospital where a relative was having surgery. Instead of having a long ride during rush hour the relative stayed at the hotel and had a quick two block ride. It was very restful and comfortable.”

• You had a parking pass for the garage where you could park for $15 day. However you could come and go as you please.
• The bathroom could have been updated/cleaned up a bit.

• I could not sleep at all due to the very noisy climate control. Also, the sheets were very uncomfortable.

• Not close to Bryn Mawr. Placed in the wrong area on your map.

“The hotel was fine for the short time we were there. This is not the place to stay if you are visiting colleges in other areas. Late night service lacked information about area, though morning team was better.”

• I liked the quality of the bedding, the wireless internet/computer in the room, and the spaciousness of the room.
• I did not like that parking was an additional cost which was not told to me at check in and poor marking of how to enter the parking garage.

“Where you park is not clearly marked and requires you enter via a side street. Entering the garage however was positive as it was clean and well lit despite the Narrow spacing. The lobby and room were very nice and promoted a relaxed atmosphere. Staff was friendly however failed to inform me of the $15/day additional expense for parking at check in. The room service staff were pleasance the and food was good. The bed and other facilities in the room were nice and particularly enjoyed having the computer in our room so we could check email or check out area sites.”

“Very nice hotel, efficient staff, clean, with free wireless or wired hookups in room. Inexplicably, however, it usually took many attempts to hookup wireless before it worked. Very convenient to University and public transportation. $15 per night parking fee, however. We had 2 cars, so that really ran the bill up.”

“I wanted to dispute the charge and start over but was told, that works for you but not for us. No apology for the inconvenience. The food was 7 out of 10 but service is just as important-especially service from a manager. An apology would have preempted my effort to review this restaurant.”

• They have an outside pool. But they open to late for us.
• The covers of the bed were not clean.

“We can not enjoy the pool. We start working at 10am. So we went there at 8.30am in a hot summer and it was closed. The location it was ok but no great. We have to go to the Convention Center.”

• The internet in the room and many pillows on the bed.
• Did not have a refrigerator for drinks and food.

“Excellent location for University of Pennsylvania classes; seminars and meetings. Bed was comfortable and the hotel staff saw to my individual needs, as a consumer. Overall, a 9 stay. I suspect when the time comes to stay in Philadelphia, I will choose this hotel at this location.”

• Parking was bad.

“It is a nice upscale hotel, good for business, they have a pool, but it is cold, (in June), no hot tub, and the pool setting is kind of bare, not ambiance, and outdoors so in the winter it is probably not open. It is close walking to a few restaurants. Parking is at a premium, and have a hard time fitting larger vehicles.”

• Staff is very friendly and professional, bed so comfortable.
• I was hoping it would include a small refrigerator.

“When we first walked through the lobby I was amazed as to how quaint and cozy the lobby was. The entire hotel was very tastefully decorated. And clean. My husband and daughter were thrilled that they had a fitness room to go to. Myself, I loved the bed. It was the most comfortable hotel bed I had ever slept on. The only negative was that we had to keep filling our cooler with ice to keep our perishables chilled. A small fridge would have been nice. The staff was very friendly and professional. And very accommodating.”

• Very Clean. The room was very nice.
• Internet connection too slow. However, it was free.

“I believe this Hotel can be a 3-Star Hotel. The area is not the best because is not located close to the city. However, the hotel is clean, beautiful and friendly. I will stay again. The price was excellent for this hotel.”

• Beds were big & soft. Computer in room nice & helpful touch.
• No real view of city from room.

“If your looking to stay close to the Liberty bell, or Independence Hall, this is around 30 blocks away. Right in the heart of the collages though. The hotel parking fee was high, but they do let you go in & out. The room was very nice. The staff was a bit stand offish. They also had computer with free internet in the rooms, making you trip planning a whole lot easier, with free printing. The beds were in great shape, with very good thread count sheets on them. Rooms had not view of city at all, but a great view of the college's. The pool liked very nice, and sits on the roof. All and all this was a very nice stay for the price.”

• The lobbies and conference areas were very nice.
• We were booked in a handicap-accessible room when we requested two double beds.

“We requested two double beds for the room, but were given a handicap-accessible room with one queen. We were told we would have to pay $20/night for the additional cot, though they ultimately waived that fee. Other travelers to the conference were staying in rooms by themselves and had requested single beds, but were given double beds (even though they arrived after us). We requested a room change, but were told nothing was available. Ultimately, they staff were polite but uncooperative.”

• Room card keys did not function very well.

“Great location. Went to Philadelphia to visit out daughter who is on the Drexel crew team. This hotel was convenient and parking reasonable and safe.”
