• Suite rooms with full kitchen would be excellent for long stays.
• The sheets that were to be used for the sofa sleeper were wet when they were put in the storage bag in the closet. They were clean, just damp. Exchange.

• Will choose another brand of hotels if in the area again.

“As a platinum level Marriott rewards member, this was the worst experience that I have ever had with a Marriott property. Even with onsite security (that stays on their cell phone more than they do their job) my vehicle window was shattered and my property was stolen. This is the same hotel where the Philadelphia eagle's playbook was taken several years ago and made National news. If you are planning on making a trip to Philadelphia, I would suggest staying at the renaissance - also a Marriott property. This property is much better for security, amenities, and service.”

• Understaffed; morning shuttle driver to airport late.

“Great airport location for business traveler. However, appears to be understaffed for Marriott level property. was given incorrect pre-printed directions to find gas station.5am airport shuttle driver never arrived. They called courtyard Marriott driver, who saved the travel day by being courteous, friendly and professional.”

• I enjoyed the full facilities. The complimentary breakfast was above expectations.
• There is nothing that I did not like.

“The hotel staff was friendly courteous and professional. I have a bad hip and the shuttle driver helped with my bags and the restaurant help brought food and beverages to my table being very helpful. The desk was prompt in getting me a cab to center city.”

• Room decor was dated -- looked exactly like the Residence Inn I stayed at 15 years ago!

• The kitchen was very nice and well stock with all the comforts of home.
• I thought it had a fire place in the room.

“It was very nice for the price I paid. I was pleasantly surprised at how clean and neat it was. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was very nice. The overall impression was very nice. I would recommend this hotel to any one looking for reasonable priced accommodations.”

• No nearby restaurants/eating. Airport travelers - no car.

“Friendly, efficient staff in all areas. Kudos! This sets it off from the other residence inns. Great chain - comfortable room, breakfast and internet included. Add some walking-distance restaurants to this airport hotel, and it would be perfect. Also: bed was good, but I came back from a trip with all west in and Sheraton beds, so I was spoiled.”

“Great hotel should be a 3 star. The Hilton next door does not compare to this hotel. Overall a great hotel. Free breakfast in morning is great. They have microwavable popcorn in the rooms and candy. Kitchen was well equipped with dishwasher, refrigerator, garbage disposal, and bar with 2 stools, stove and microwave. Living room with pullout couch, and very comfortable bed. Outstanding hotel with friendly staff. 4 star hotel.”

• This was one of the cleanest, and best values for my money at any airport I have stayed.
• Everything was excellent.

“Hotel was a 2.5* should have been a 3*. This hotel is a credit to the Hilton next door. The rooms had kitchenette (dishes, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, and bar with stools), living room, and a comfy bed. Large rooms. Free breakfast (sausage, eggs, waffles, cereal, fresh fruit). Great value. ”

• That the building is separate. Stayed in building 9 and was at the back of the complex. I was alone and did not feel very secure walking at night¿

“The hotel was good except for the fact that the building is separate and all doors are outside. I was traveling alone and even though there was a security van driving around, there were many doorways and it just made me feel uneasy because there are many places to hide. That the security can't see from the van.”

• We had trouble getting a portable crib.

“The hotel was very clean and nicely decorated. We were very at home here and the staff was helpful, however we had a situation where we were told to request a portable crib upon check-in and we did but the crib was broken. The other portable cribs were locked away and no one had a key. It was 10 PM before they resolved the situation.”

“There was friendly service and the room was very clean. The only down fall was that the cups were actual glass. Which is not the best thing when traveling with small children. Possibly a very clear plastic that's looks like glass would be more preferred or have the option to use plastic cups available in the room.”

• The staff is what made my stay pleasant.
• The beds are very uncomfortable. Very out dated hotel.

“The hotel is very close to the airport. It takes maybe 2 minutes to get to the terminal. It is in a quiet location. The bed seemed very old and definitely uncomfortable as it concaved in the center. I guess it will do for a quick night stay. I can't complain about the price. Nor did I participate in the meals they offer although it sounded fun.”

• The hotel was actually a lot better than the rating. It was rated a 2.5 star it was definitely a 3 or more then that.
• Nothing I didn't like.

“Clean, warm, friendly staff. Convienent to the airport. Breakfast was served on time starts at 6am, we had to leave by 6:15am and got plenty full. The checkin was simple and fast. Defintely recommend.”

“The look of the room was mediocre and the hotel was understaffed. I waited in line 20 minutes just to check in behind 2 other guests and was interrupted by an irate guest who had called for pillows hours ago, which he could not get since the desk clerk was the only employee on duty.”

• Terrible location. Not safe to walk outside at night. Lots of bums and winos.

“My wife and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency, McCormick Place. The hotel is on the south side of Chicago in a very bad part of the city. The hotel was nice, food was good. Parking was very expensive ($29 per night) and the surrounding area was unsafe and dirty. We would not stay there again because of the outside, not the inside.”

• Even though it was next to the airport, it was quiet. The suite was great. Breakfast was good, too.
• The shower head made a high pitched screeching noise when running.

“Friendly and helpful staff. Clean and spacious rooms with a full kitchen! Excellent breakfast offerings. Be aware that the shuttle service, although very convenient, does not start until 5 am. Quiet rooms, each with a private entrance from the outside.”

• A/C in room didn't work; rooms look pretty shabby

“Do not believe this hotel qualifies as 2-1/2 star. The rooms are large with kitchens but in major need of renovation. Also the a/c didn't work in my room and by the time I realized it wasn't cooling off, I was already in bed and had to get up very early.”

“The room was fine, but the hotel said that they have a free airport shuttle. When I asked about leaving my car and taking the shuttle, they said that I could not park in their lot for the 4 days that I would be away. What the heck is the purpose of a shuttle then?”

“Room very dated, carpet was dirty and needed repair, closet door falling off. No on site restaurant, no coffee service before 6am. They wouldn't hold the airport shuttle 5 min...since I was running a little, I hade to wait 45 min for the next shuttle and almost missed the plane. Other that the pleasant staff the hotel was very poor quality.”
