• close to town centre
• floor was very outdated ,room was stale smoke smell and could have done with brightening up also. Worst breakfast ever had dried out and not very pleasant.

“not sure if it was just this wing' rooms that were poor , but breakfast needs looking at (food was still cooking in heated trays not just being kept hot you could hear the hissing sound of cooking)
I have stayed at Corus hotels before and this is not what I expect”

• It was clean and adequate.
• Appeared to be in need of refurbishment. Breakfast standards could be improved.

• Good breakfast.

“The accommodation as described was misleading as the hotel boasts it's an old coaching inn. On check in I was then directed across a yard to a 1960's block where there was a run down, tatty furnished, badly decorated and dimmly lit room.”
