• Street was under construction.

“Very nice hotel. Awesome location, just minor road construction in front of the hotel during our stay.”

• I was able to check in early.
• It's not the hotel itself, but the road construction right outside it.

“I have stayed at this hotel three times. The hotel is always immaculate, and the staff is very friendly. There is a Subway station next to the hotel. The area is excellent for shopping and dining. The location is quieter than other hotels closer to Eaton Centre.”

• The size of the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel. The hotel staff was wonderful. Great service and a nice fitness center for the price.
• The hotel restaurant and room service was very expensive and not that good.

“The hotel is great for the price. Our room was always very clean and the hotel staff was very pleasant. The fitness center was better than most hotels I've stayed in and the locker room was pretty good also. My only complaint is the restaurant in the hotel and the room service. It's very expensive and the food is of poor quality. But the hotel is located in a great area for restaurants so we didn't sweat the one in the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.”

• Hotel room is clean and the health fitness room exceeded our expectation.
• Parking is tight, prone to accident.

“The room was spacious and the view was quite nice. We did not expect Marriott at Bloor would have such fine amenities; we were especially impressed with the fitness center. Highly recommend to any travelers to Toronto.”

• Maid service was very good! Patient, friendly with our kids.
• No hotel should be charging for internet connections these days.

“Excellent value for the money! Located on top of a TTC Subway station so getting around is easy. The public parking garage next door is more convenient (and cheaper) than hotel parking. The only thing missing is a pool!”

• Comfortable beds and wonderfully soft bed linens.
• No free breakfast, no pool.

“Beautiful, large rooms which are very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Parking was relatively inexpensive ($10 for 24 hours). Location is fairly convenient.”

“This hotel probably has the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Enjoyed our stay here, was able to get around easily without the need for a vehicle.”

• Nice bed and bathroom, size of room was nice, location was pretty good.
• Very small TV 19, bad view.

“Nice hotel, very nice staff, good if you can stay for a good price. Not much for a romantic trip. TV was way to small 19" or less pretty pathetic. Bedding was very nice as was the bed.”

• Nice rooms, great bathrooms.
• First hotel I've stayed at in a while that didn't have HD TVs.

“Great hotel for location alone, but the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The hotel lacks a lot of the usual amenities like a pool, but it was a very comfortable stay, and I would definitely return.”

• The concierge was excellent.
• The decor, the charges for wired internet access.

“For a 4 star hotel it was disappointing. The decor was tacky and needs updating badly. WiFi is not available in the rooms. There is no complimentary breakfast. The bed was extremely comfortable. The concierge was excellent.”

• Didn't have 2 beds available so had to use rollaway, no control of fan so hallway noisy and no way to drown noise out since no fan control.

“Nice hotel but you'd want to be in this location as it is not downtown, it's several miles North of downtown. parking too expensive should be included in room charge as well as internet charges are annoying and also should be in room charge.”

• That it had suites with really comfortable beds and linens.
• They staff was beyond rude, except the two people that I checked in and out with.

“Overall the hotel was a nice and luxurious place to stay. We did enjoy the stay until, we had got fined for smoking and was not aware that the entire building was a non-smoking building. When we were coming in one night through the lobby, we got smirked and laughed at because the night time staff had known that we were the guests that had got fined for the smoking in their guest suite. We all were furious for that. It was very inappropriate. so, we all were definitely embarrass and did not feel welcomed no longer at the hotel. We stayed until check out time but left the hotel with a extremely bad impression of the staff in the lobby.”
