• Outstanding view of the town centre and castle.
• A 30 minutes walk to the downtown.

• The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and had excellent parking facilities.
• Food and drink were a bit pricey.

“We would stay at this hotel again. Our room was on an upper floor with excellent views of the city of Edinburgh and Edinburgh Castle. Taxi fares from the hotel to Edinburgh city center were very reasonable so you can leave your vehicle in the car park from the time you arrive until the time you depart. Beds were very comfortable.”

• Clean, comfortable bed and nice view of the city.
• Small and there was work being done on the floor outside my room.

• Good beds.
• Very noisy; staff at reception not very friendly.

“The second night of my stay, there were noisy people going up and down the hall half the night, continually slamming doors, talking loudly. The next night, there was loud music from a function directly beneath my room. When I phoned to complain, I was told basically nothing could be done about it until it was over.”

• The staff was friendly, rooms were clean, and great location

“I liked the fact that we were able to catch a bus and get downtown within 10 minutes and not have to worry about parking. The rooms were clean and spacious. The staff very friendly about answering questions. The overall experience was great.”
