• Clerk said it was a double plus sofa bed and it wasn't.

“Easy to get to and from Heathrow. Price for a small room without a top sheet on the bed even. Clean enough but carpeting worn down.”

• Check-in/check-out process.

“Check-in was delayed. However, I have stayed at this hotel before, and every time there has been some kind of problem. For example, last time they were running late, and couldn't give us room until after 8 pm. Three star hotels shouldn't have problems like this, and if they arise, they should offer some kind of compensation (free breakfast, free internet.) -- something.”

• Should have its own free airport shuttle.

“Nowhere to walk around, so don't plan on spending any time there over and above sleeping and getting to/from the airport. only reasonable way to get there is to go to Heathrow and pay for a hotel shuttle to and from the airport.”

• The hotel exceeded my expectations.
• The restaurants all closed early and I couldn't pay the bill directly in the one restaurant which was open. I had to charge food to my room.

“This hotel is wonderful for a business traveler or someone who has a long layover at London Heathrow Airport. The room is upscale and clean. The facilities are varied and multiple.”

• Roomy by UK standard.
• Poor hardware condition. No shuttle to Heathrow Terminal 4.

“As a hotel at Heathrow Airport, we had to spend 25 British Pounds to hire a taxi to get to Terminal 4. The hotel does not run a shuttle there. Rusty windows and restroom facilities. Roomy by UK standard.”

• Close to the airport, large rooms, three restaurants to chose from.
• I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. One complaint is that the TV is really old and outdated.

“I was only there for a night, but the quality of the hotel was excellent. The room was spacious (perhaps even more so than some of the more expensive hotels I've stay at in the US) and I really liked the lounge restaurant. The food was decent, and it provided a nice place to relax and have a coffee or beer without leaving the premises. Theres also an Irish Pub!”

• The bathroom was very clean the bed was comfy.
• The hallway carpets were dirty and stained.

“Holiday M4 was what we paid for. We were not disappointed except that we thought we'd have breakfast and that was additional. The room service was good food with prices about par. Comfy king bed. Great bathroom.”

“While the price for this hotel couldn't be beat and a close location to the airport was very convenient, I was very surprised by the hidden expense of an additional $20 per night parking.”

• Convenient to Heathrow.
• Phone didn't work, hairdryer broken.

“It took 2 hours to get the phone fixed so we could get a wake up call since the only clock in the room is part of the TV. The hairdryer was plugged in and stored in a drawer and the cord wasn't long enough and the on switch was broken so that you had to continually hold it down whilst trying to blow dry.”

• The concierge was very helpful.
• The roadway from airport was Byzantine.

“The staff was very pleasant and helpful, answered questions readily. The hotel was comfortable and the restaurant provided a nice dinner meal.”

• Staff initially gave us a room that was not clean.

“Each way to go less then a half mile. It is impossible to walk there or any where else because of its location' once you are there you are stuck. It is a typical Holiday Inn, clean functional and close to airport.”

• Blanket was inadequate for the cold weather, breakfast should have been included, there was no stationery, there should be a free airport shuttle.

• Small full sized double bed.

“The hotel is located a short distance from Heathrow. It also has easy access to the m4 for those that have a car. Everyone on staff was very helpful and friendly.”
