• The reception area was beautiful.
• The room was not up to expectation.

“I would not recommend this hotel. I called for a wakeup call and they did not call. I was late for my appointment. We ran out of toilet tissue and called for someone to bring it and they did not. I went to the public restroom in the lobby finally to get tissue for the room. Totally upsetting to me. There was no ice available for the room. Totally a bad experience for me.”

• The lobby is gorgeous!
• No ice machines.

“Very helpful concierge service. Beautiful lobby and bathrooms. Huge by France standards. Loved the goutal amenities. Very quiet and clean. Highly recommend.”

• Friendly staff, great location, clean.
• Older furniture.

“When we checked in we were pleasantly surprised with a free upgrade to a junior suite. The room was large, clean, bathroom very pretty, beds comfortable, ample closet space. Hotel lobby was very elegant. Room furniture was slightly dated and minibar was expensive, but otherwise room was great. Hotel is well-known and easy to find, located next to a major train/metro station. Everything is easily accessible. Stay was great, but would probably rate hotel 3 to 3.5 stars by U.S. standards. Would recommend to friends and family.”

• Beautiful lobby.
• Bathroom could use a deep cleaning, furniture very worn.

“Staff was very friendly, but took a long time to check in. Lobby is beautiful, but rooms have very worn and chipped furniture. The bathrooms need a good deep cleaning, but were not horrible.”

• The room was large and very nice. The bed was very comfortable, bathroom was huge.
• Nothing, it was great.

“This hotel is in a great area, right near the Metro station, many shops as well as one of the major sightseeing bus stops. The staff was very friendly, courteous and accommodating Te rooms were great, nice views, great beds and huge bathrooms. The air-conditioning worked very well, which can be important in summer in Paris. The bar is expensive, $16 for a Martini, but if you don't mind spending the money it has a good atmosphere. The concierge gave great recommendations for restaurants, etc. though you should be sure to be specific on the range of $$ you want to spend on dinner. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel. It's a great deal.”
