• Upscale neighborhood in the downtown area. We felt pretty safe.
• On a very narrow one-way street.

“The rooms were small but clean and neat. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We walked to many of the tourist sites we wanted to see and the nearby bus stops made it easy to get around to other places.”

• I am a female and was traveling alone, and felt safe at this hotel. The location was great for getting to the underground quickly.
• The desk staff were lukewarm, though the concierge and maids were very nice.

“This was my first trip to London, and I was traveling alone. This hotel was perfect for me, as it was located close to underground (Bond Street), it was on a quiet street, yet close to small/cheap places to eat in the morning. I felt safe coming and going, even late at night. The room was very clean and the bathroom seemed shiny new (great water pressure in the shower!). The walls were a bit thin, as I could sometimes hear my next door neighbors at night, but heavy sleepers wouldn't be bothered, and ear plugs would have fixed it for me. I was quite pleased with my stay and would definitely stay there again.”
