“I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE KNOWN THERE WAS NO SHOWER IN THE ROOM. OTHERWISE THE FACILITIES WERE GOOD AND THE HOTEL WAS ONLY A SHORT TAXI JOURNEY INTO THE CITY CENTRE, AND IDEALLY LOCATED CLOSE TO SOME ENTERTAINMENT AND RESTAURANT OUTLETS ON EDGE LANE.”

“For the price, this hotel was great - we arrived late, but checked in easily, our room was good with all the basic amenities, and we were close to the city centre to travel back in by bus the following morning. All the staff were very friendly.”

“I think the information you give in internet is very real. You are located in several pages for finding and booking hotels and is the same.”

“Overall hotel staff were friendly & courteous. Hotel was warm & comfortable, value for money. Good location for shoppers. Where incidents occur within hotel guests should be notified if effected ie: note on hotel room to contact reception. Where a specific request has been asked for, if a change is necessary suitable accomodation with same needs should be met. Breakfast needs to be more varied. Disabled parking clearly marked. Wouldn't recommend on the basis of decor needs to modernised & repaired.”

“Please spend some money on redecorating the rooms and new matresses. An OK hotel otherwise.”

“Good hotel for one or two night stay. Nnt walking distance to other amenities such as shops and restaurants, but taxi fare into town is very cheap. i.e.'3.60. Staff were helpful. No complaints at all really.”

“I would have liked to have known what part of the hotel I would have been staying at as I would have asked to be moved elsewhere due to loud music. Music was 3 floors below me but I felt like I was in the same room as the music. Could hear every word of every song and every word DJ was saying. Kept me awake!”

“Bearing in mind the price, availability of off-street parking and of cooked breakfast, the stay was good value for money.”

“Staff didn't always know what was going on/how we would be affected by wedding parties etc. As a result we had a long wait one evening and had to indicate that we wanted some movement - are extra staff taken on when large groups are in the hotel? Is there a danger that hotel guests who are not part of a particular group get marginalised?”

“The hotel was back from the street and a little difficult to spot. The staff was very friendly and were helpful whenever you had questions or needed something. The room was well equipped and larger. The wallpaper/paint needed refreshing, but everything was clean and not in bad shape. Breakfast provided lots of choice and they kept it well stocked. We felt it was a good value and we were treated very well.” Amenities at Devonshire House Hotel The, Liverpool
