• Comfortable bed, nice bedlinen, good big towels, nice outlook from window
• Endless corridors, partially blocked bathtub, inconvenient nooks and layout in window area, walls too thin

“The hotel was slightly dated and tatty, with something approaching an olde worlde feel but on an enormous and inconvenient scale. The food was good but pricey, particularly (I would think)for families.The walls between the bedrooms need a little more soun”

• The Staff was wonderful. They went out of their way to make everything great!
• Many of the doors, especially to the business area, didn't work & were never properly fixed causing lots of problems.

• LOCATION
• beds were very uncomfortable,heating did not work,bar staff unhelpful

• Nicely furnished room. Good selection from Room Service Menu. Only a few minutes from Gatwick Airport

“Good value at the on-line rate. More comfortable and quieter than the on airport hotels that I have previously used at Gatwick.
Only 7 minutes drive to the South Terminal car parks”

• very comfortable and inviting good parking
• the bathroom needed a very good spring clean needed a light above kettle facilities (Minor problem)

“Sorry I have noth9ng much to say, except that it was very good. I would have liked to arrive earlier and use the leisure facilities but this was not possible.”

• Excellant service clean and tidy lovely room loved the bath.
• The car parking pool out of use for couple of days

“The car parking was terrible several times i couldnt have a car parking slot and ended up abbanding my car on grass verges i understant there is a holiday deal but there should be enough spaces left for hotel residents. This is my only fault out of my stay but it should be addressed .”

• Well presented clean and tidy generally a nice hotel and facilities
• On this stay we were given a warmer room which was satisfactory

“On my first stay the room was very cool and the radiator was set to maximum with no effect. On this stay the room was quite warm and comfortable. The hotel is weel presented with good eating and leisure facilities.
The a la carte restaurant is expensive but there is an alternative which is cheaper.
The swimming pool and gym are good but the pool was cloudy and the water treatment requires attention as this is not satisfactory.”

• spacious room, comfortable room.
• bathroom needed a bit of attention - couple of cracked tiles - minor

“The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent. Great being able to buy champagne by the glass. Would go again. Would have preferred to know more about sports facilities before we arrived as we could then have taken more advantage of them.”

• Service of staff, location and value for money (discounted)
• There was no were to park except on grass verges. car park was over booked

“I think the hotel is good overall and i would recommend it to anyone. But saying that I did get it for a cheaper rate and had the best room the hotel offered. The parking was really poor, it was a case of parking were ever you could includiing grassed area. The room service was good and prompt and you felt you were being taken care off.”

• The room was spacious and the the hotel had character
• The fittings and fixtures (Bathroom) are geeting tired now and the lighting was dull.

“Having booked online and presented the receptionist with a printed confirmation and refernce number we were very suprised to find that she had no details of our booking, after some time she eventually started from scratch. All the staff we had dealings with were helpful and courteous. It may be time to consider refurbing the rooms now as some of the fixtures and fittings are showing signs of age.”
