“When I first got to the Renaissance Hotel the staff was fast and efficient in getting me checked in and they were also very friendly. I told the gentleman that was at reception that I needed a row away bed. I thought that he put the request in for me but I guess he didn't because when we got back into the room there wasn't one there. We called the reception desk and discovered that they ran out of them, but they offered extra blankets instead. Overall the stay was great, friendly service and very clean I would stay here again.”

“Unfortunately we didn't know there was an anime convention going on labor day weekend and the hotel was packed with rude teens. They were all over the hotel pool (I'm not sure why the hotel let them in when they weren't guests). They were diving in a 3.5ft pool and making out everywhere! The hotel really should of done something about it! Or maybe they should of never agreed to hosting such an event. Other than that buzz kill, the rooms were very clean and the staff was super nice. The bar in the lobby was great too, good drinks and free snacks. The pool could be bigger though.”

“From the moment I walked through the front doors, I was greeted by a friendly and courteous staff. They were helpful and professional with readily available information for any questions I had. Although I did not explore or utilize a large portion of the hotel's amenities, the room itself was nice and clean and the bathroom had a nice design with a separate shower and tub. I would have preferred to have a lock on the bathroom's pocket door, and a ventilation fan as well. The bed was comfortable and the abundance of pillows made my evenings very restful. The non-casino, non-smoking atmosphere was a nice refuge from the glitz, glamour, and noise of Las Vegas. Best of all, it was right next to a monorail station so getting to the strip couldn't have been easier. Overall, this is one of the nicest hotels I've ever had the pleasure of staying at. It's just too bad my vacation was over so quickly, I would have liked to explore more of the services that the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel had to offer. A word of caution, however, you might do well to call ahead to see what conventions are planned for your vacation dates. My vacation plans were right in the middle of an anime convention, and the lobby was continually filled with adolescents in costume!”

“I enjoy this hotel. It's right off the strip and has a very youthful, modern feel. The hotel is well decorated and has a calming effect on you when you arrive. It's one of the strip's best kept secrets.”

“The hotel deserved it's 4 stars, and even thought it's not right on Vegas Blvd., it's only a short taxi ride to the main strip.”

“Good hotel. I wouldn't stay here unless I was going to a convention or meeting in the area. If you are on a budget it is a great choice if you want to be near the strip at off strip prices as it is very easy to catch the Monorail to any of the main hotels.”

“In LV with a car, its not necessary to be on the strip. Parking is free on the hotels on the strip. However, it can be slightly cheaper.”

“Well hotel which is probably good for families with young kids. Pool area is very small and shaded most of day by the hotel. I've stayed in Vegas many times and have never heard noise through the walls until here. Not sure why this is a 4 star hotel. Seemed very average except for the tub in the bathroom and small, not very cold, refrigerator. But if your in Vegas for convention and don't like smoking, this is the place for you.”

“I have stayed here about 4 times and this time we asked for a quiet room, it was very noisy where we were placed. The air conditioning didn't work properly, it got very warm in the room at night and the refrigerator didn't get cold enough so it should probably be replaced.”

“Room service prices were high for average food, and the hotel did not have a shuttle. However, rooms were clean and nicely decorated and the hotel was within walking distance of the monorail.”

“Overall for the price we were very happy with our stay. The only negative was a design flaw in the room. We asked for a king and were put in a king wheel chair accessible room. The bathroom had no storage or any place to hang our towels once we showered and the bathroom floor flooded every time we showered. But other than that we truly enjoyed our stay.”

“It is a very nice hotel not to far from the strip. We liked that the pool was shaded in the afternoon. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is very accommodating. We absolutely would stay again.”

“It is suited for business travel. Not too far and not too close to the strip which I prefer. The purpose of staying there would be better served if bed comes with complementary breakfast.”

“Renaissance is a good clean small hotel and is close to the Vegas Monorail line. It is quiet, off the strip and has no noisy Casino. However, it is remote, you have to drive or take the monorail everywhere. The pool is 3 feet deep and the size of your neighbor's backyard pool. Good service, limited room service menu.”
