• Good location, very clean.
• They charged for parking our car on their site and we were guests at their facility.

“It is a great place to stay, I don't feel it is fair to charge their own guests to park there. I left my pillow in my room, called them 30 minutes after we left and they said there was no pillow, I feel housekeeping really let me down, why would someone want my pillow? And was extremely disappointed at their response.”

• Everyone (staff) that I came in contact with were very nice.
• The bed on one side (my side) was broken. It was adjustable. Not in my case.

“This hotel is not a lot of frills, but is priced good and served it's purpose. Service was good.”

• Subway station just outside.
• Nothing.

“The hotel has a Subway stop (red line) just outside the main door. However, we visited in late Aug 08 and had to travel to the international airport on a Saturday and found that the stop was closed all weekend for maintenance. The staff at the hotel was very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfy and the hotel is right near heaps of good restaurants. The complimentary in-room internet wasn't working but they had a business centre and wireless in the lobby.”

• It was a great location for us, and it was beautiful and very nice to have a restaurant and bar.
• The internet was down our entire stay, and I did not like the color and lights in the business center, it created a terrible migraine for me.

“This was a very beautiful hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us. Need to get the internet fixed. And need to change the color and lights in the business center, the color and lights can set off migraines for people who suffer from them due to poor lights.”

• Because of the "so-so" location, we did discover 2 good restaurants.
• The valet and front desk were hurried, abrupt and not friendly.

“The hotel is fine. The location is not ideal if you want a Magnificent Mile Hotel. It is too far west and south for lots of shopping. It is Chicago and parking is already horrible. Valet is $44/ 24 hours and self park is $35.”

• Location. Close to many restaurants, shopping and public transportation spots.
• The initial check in parking was somewhat confusing.

“The hotel is in the heart of many restaurants and shopping. The hotel is 2 blocks from the magnificent mile and about a mile to the Navy Pier/Lake Michigan beach. The free trolley to the pier and the closeness of the bus stops and El stops made everything convenient. My family had a great time.”

• Location was wonderful and the hotel was clean.
• Air conditioner was outdated and very loud. Shower drained very slowly.

• Rooms were nicely decorated and the staff were extremely helpful.
• Poor service in the Weber grille for breakfast. Food was excellent but poor service.

“I was able to check in early which was a plus. The rooms were clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The staff was very friendly, courteous and helpful. For a business traveler, the hotel was ideally located with the redline just across the street with excellent restaurants within walking distance. My breakfast food at the Weber Grill was excellent but the service was poor. You had to ask for the first cup of coffee and juice but then the cub was never empty. The Weber staff needs to be more receptive to their customers. They lack leadership in knowing how to deal with their customers. The waiters were nice but lacked direction in knowing how to handle their customers when they were seated. This could all be corrected with just a little bit of training. The breakfast food was excellent. Weber has to work on improving their service.”

“Clean, friendly, beautiful, affordable. Staff was very accommodating and did not make you feel like a burden. Weber Grill offered an outstanding meal!”

“This hotel was very comfortable, and is in the process of being newly remodeled. It is attached to The Weber Grill restaurant, and offers a full-buffet breakfast for $15.00. It is centrally located to great shopping and many fine restaurants.”

• Liked how close it was to Children's Memorial Hospital.
• No DVD player, no jacks on TV for play station, phone broke, broadband cable broke, Lumpy bed.

“Having no DVD player, or cable hook ups for Play station, Internet cable and phone broke, and very Lumpy beds; it became a hotel not to take your child to that has hospital visits every other day. Also parking is attached to Hotel but $26.00 every time you leave is outrageous.”

• Cleaning staff sometimes forgetful "washcloths".

• The staff at the hotel was very helpful. The rooms were comfortable and extremely clean. Also, it has a great location!
• There was nothing that we didn't like.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The bed and bedding was so comfortable, we would have loved to take it all home with us! The pool and hot tub were great; the hours were super and it was very clean. There really wasn't anything that we didn't like or enjoy!”
