• Central location, clean rooms, comfortable beds. Great view!
• No mini-fridge. Expensive rates.

“The rooms were clean, pleasantly decorated with a great view of times square. The location was perfect for 12-year-olds. Right in the middle of the action. And also close to the subway. The elevators were super fast. The staff was pleasant and quick. I love that they have two Starbucks in the building. We would stay here again.”

• The staff from the desk clerks to the cleaners were terrific.
• Horrible buffet. Central areas unattractive and impersonal.

“Huge hotel (2000) rooms so the building is impersonal. The surprise was that it runs like clockwork by very pleasant, efficient staff.”

• Friendly staff, beautiful surroundings, clean spacious room and most of all comfortable and quiet sleeping in a key location!
• Nothing.

“We stayed for one night to have a quick getaway and go out with friend who live in NYC. It was perfect! Walked everywhere enjoyed the bar the room was clean comfortable and quiet at night. Definitely visit again soon.”

“Perfect Times Square locale. Comfy beds and pillows. Very clean. Spacious with large bathroom. Friendly staff. Took about 3 minutess. To retrieve car from valet parking - a record. Would stay here again in future.”

“This hotel was all I expected, and was perfect for a night away. It was especially convenient since the show we were going to see was literally next door (The Lion King - definitely recommended).”

• Nice resting place in the middle of Times Square.
• None.

“This is a great location to experience midtown. It is walking distance to Central Park and many other places of interest. The cabs drop you off the main street in a covered entrance area. It has the very predictable Marriott quality.”

• Rollaway bed is actually a nice, sturdy bed with frame.
• Lobby on 8th floor. A little inconvenient with luggage.

“Overall, our family had a good experience at this hotel. The gleaming marble/granite counters and tile floors add a nice, luxurious feel to it. Our children like the open elevators in which riders can look out while they are in motion. Guests are directed to the right elevators after they keyed in the floor of choice. This cut down waiting time considering there are probable about over 10 elevators working at the same time. The hotel hallways feel very open. Thanks to the creative open wall design. The cut out metal wall design add a contemporary feel and help open the space at the same time. A lovely design.”

• The bar closed early. We had met somebody at the bar after Broadway show, however, it was closed. We had to go to a different one.

“The location, the service and friendliness of the staff was superb. We would definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and relatives. We wish we could get or earned the Marriott point as well. Thanks.”

• Location excels. Excellent friendly service. Beautiful lobby. Fun elevator system.
• Bedrooms are too small.

“The location is absolutely ideal - especially for our 1st trip to NYC. So many things were right-there or walking distance. My sons enjoyed monitoring the elevators. Everyone was very friendly, polite and helpful. Had to settle for a king, pull out sofa bed and another bed brought in. There wasn't any walking/breathing room for 2 adults and our 2 older teenage sons. That was disappointing, especially for the price. Eat breakfast across the street at Junior's. We ate breakfast in one of the lobby cafes once. It was about $100 for 2 regular breakfasts and one bagel plus juices (my husband and I split a breakfast). Eggs, potatoes, bread and juice for 4 shouldn't cost $100. Again, for our 1st time in NYC, it was the perfect location - right in the heart of it all.”

• Decor of room was beautiful.
• They charge for refrigerator and we had to throw away food.

“The hotel was in the center of everything; we were able to get to subways easily. The staff was great. The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. After a certain hour, you had to show your door key so we felt very safe. We were granted a late check out which really helped. I would recommend this hotel.”
