  • Fast service, clean, location great, modern accommodation, access to internet, great views.
  • No hot tub, pool was not deep enough to enjoy a good swim (like 3 1/2-4ft only).

“If just adults, great place for all needs except no hot tub. I would recommend to everyone.”

  • You can see water, Ships, the bridge and even eat on a historic ships near Hyatt and Visitor center is near hotel. Lovely place I highly recommend!
  • The pool water didn't look real clean.

“Other than the swimming pool not looking like it had been cleaned, the place was wonderful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Customer service is great. The Hyatt is located close to a M-F visitors center. You are right at the water when you walk out and turn to your left of the hotel. There are several things you can check out right after you get there like the ship restaurant that serves wonderful food. There is a pier that you can walk down right across from Hyatt. The only other thing I can think of is that it isn't close to a lot of historic things. You will have to walk several blocks to get to them. It was still worth it. At night the area where the ships are is lit up and you can take an evening stroll around the water.”

  • I received a corner room which had a nice array of windows.
  • The area was a little scary parking area outside was not well lit.

“Over all the hotel was very nice. Corner room waterfront were very nice. View were beautiful.”

  • Great location!
  • You have to pay minimum $20/night to park at the hotel.

“The hotel is a great location, right on the water. The city of Philly is walk able distance from hotel, very convenient.”

  • The room set up and the view was nice; loved the flat screen TV built into the wall that was adjustable to view.
  • Size of the room was rather small; paying for parking was expensive for one night and ridiculous as a hotel patron should be free.

“Hotel was nice; room was small, but overall, hotel staff was not particularly helpful at check out when needed.”

  • Comfortable beds, nice decor, great view.
  • Not the best shower pressure.

“We really felt we were away from home on a luxurious vacation although we live in the burbs of Philly. It was a fun romantic getaway.”

“The hotel was great overall! The concierge was very helpful, of the 3 ladies at the counter, the one that helped me was not very understanding. The room was very nice, the view was nice, the restaurant downstairs was romantic but pricy. I would love to stay at this hotel again.”

  • The bed was great. The front desk personnel were efficient.
  • The bar tender was not friendly. The bar needed to be cleaned up. A bit messy.

“The hotel was nice. I would describe it as a corporate hotel. A bit stiff. We had a great view of the bridge from our window. The bed was very comfortable & the room was clean. The bar area was stiff & the bartender was not very friendly. I would rate this hotel a 3.5 star rather than the 4 star.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[8] • Location:[8]

  • Room was clean, spacious and modern conveniences.
  • Parking at $29- per night was outrageous.

“I would have rated this hotel as an outstanding value if it weren't for the caveat that they charge a whopping $29 per night for valet parking and that is $35- with tax. It is $24- a day to park yourself. This appeared both outrageous and the service for getting the car was quite inefficient in spite of the hotel being not very crowded.”

  • The room looked amazing and had a great view of the harbor.
  • A person has to take 3 different elevators to get to their parking spot.

“I had a great experience at this hotel. The room was amazing with a modern decor. The only negative aspect to this hotel is my travel to the parking garage. From the hotel a person has to use 2 elevators to get to the garage. The closest parking spot is the second level, which means you must take another elevator, making it 3 in total. If you valet then this will not be an issue.”

  • The staff was attentive and quick to respond to queries and concerns.
  • There were roaches in the bathroom around the sink.

“The hotel rooms are nicely decorated and do not feel like an average hotel. It is a bit removed from center city but for about $6 you are in the middle of everything. We did not feel that it was inconvenient.”

  • Good location, within walking distance of historical sites.
  • The hotel charged $10/day for internet connectivity.

“The hotel was well located for the tourist, within walking distance of popular historical sites. The concierge service was knowledgeable and friendly. The hotel, however, charged $10/day for internet connectivity, which should be free in an upscale hotel.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Great water front view, friendly staff. Easy cab ride in AM.
  • The lobby and restaurant were extremely cold in temperature. Could hear hallway noise through the night, being somewhat near the elevator.

“It was overpriced. Nice hotel though. Good parking and location.”

  • Room decor and view were very nice.
  • No smoking option/paying for garage parking.

“Our view and room were very nice. However I had to pay an additional charge to park in the hotel garage. Just getting to your room took 20 minutes. From the car to the elevator, then through the garage to the 2nd elevator, through the lobby to the 3rd elevator, etc. I was tired just carrying an overnight bag.”

  • Loved the decor of the rooms, very contemporary.
  • No towel bar in the bathrooms.

“I was pleasantly surprised to stay at Penn's Landing for the price. Hotel staff was very pleasant. Nice bar with great views. Valet service was quick. Love the waterfront views and surrounding area. Felt much safer sitting outside by the water at night. Late. Than I would have walking around Philly. Like that the room key is required to go up in the elevator.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The concierge was very helpful and went out of his way to make us feel welcome.
  • There was nothing that I didn't like about the hotel. It was in a perfect location, was very nice, and the staff was wonderful.

“I would recommend this hotel to anyone, young or old, that wants to visit Philly. It was close (walking distance) to most of the attractions, had a wonderful view, the staff was very courteous and friendly (even to younger guests), and was walking distance to many of the local bars and restaurants. I was very happy with our stay there.”
