• The seafood buffet at the restaurant on Saturday night was excellent.
• No WiFi in our room.

• Great location for all things at Universal Studios, best night's sleep at a hotel!
• Could sometimes hear people in hallway or next door, but not so much that it bothered us.

“A lovely hotel, great for families, super close to Universal and Wet 'n' Wild Water park. The beds were well appointed and so comfy - everyone in my family said they slept great. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I enjoyed the quiet lounge in the atrium and the free WiFi in the lounge/bar. Well kept and clean. Highly recommend this hotel!”

• They upgraded us to a junior suite since all of their rooms with Double beds were sold out.
• I had to call two separate times to get pillows for the sleeper sofa in the room.

“The hotel was clean, and staff was extremely friendly. I called the day of our stay to request a room with double beds, but they were booked, so they upgraded us to a junior suite for free. The only problem was that there were no pillows for the sleeper sofa. I called housekeeping and they only brought us one. I had to call a separate time to get more pillows. Overall experience though, was great.”

• Pool area needs more foliage.

“It exceeded our expectations. We especially liked the sleep CD that was in our mini-suite. Very clean, a pleasure to come back to after a long day at universal. Comfortable beds! Kids loved it too!”

• The beds were amazing and I loved how they strive to make your stay as relaxing as possible.
• Really hard to get a spot in the business room to get access to a computer and parking was very limited for a hotel that size.

“Everything was beautiful about this hotel. Staff was friendly and loved the express check-out. By far the best hotel of our trip.”

• It was meticulously clean. I could actually feel comfortable walking barefoot on the carpet!
• Like most hotels in the area, internet is not free in the rooms.

“This hotel is meticulous and the staff is wonderful. I would recommend it to anybody. because I-drive traffic was unbearably heavy due to the holiday weekend, it was actually nice to be on Sandlake so that all the attractions are near (walking distance) and still be able to take Sandlake to universal blvd. to get to the other side of I-drive.”

“The hotel was beautiful. The interior was well-decorated from the lobby to the rooms. The decor was very colorful and arts deco. Glass elevator gave you a scenic view of the hotel each time u got on. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Had a microwave & mini refrigerator which was a nice touch. Close to everything!”

• I liked the comfortable of the beds the most and bathroom amenities.
• The food wasn't that great for the price it was ok. Drinks at the pool bar too expensive.

“The hotel was great close to what I needed. The beds were great I like the shower pressure and the bathroom shampoo and soaps. The drinks were expensive and didn't like the fact that there was an auto gratuity cause you still feel obligated to tip so you don't look like a cheep! Overall, it was a good place and what was really big for me is the comfortable of the beds. That makes all the difference. So I would stay here again for the right price.”

“The Crowne Plaza Universal is ideally located, almost brand new and the staff is great to deal with. The food reminded me of something I would get in an airport cafe or high school cafeteria.”

“Had to call for a new hair dryer, the one in the room did not work. The toilet flushed slowly, had to call about that. Breakfast at the hotel was more expensive than going down the street to a local place.”

• The room service took one hour for a piece of cheese cake that was so small and cost 12$.
