“The decor was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area on the roof was outstanding. Could have stayed up there all night.”

“This was a delightful, charming, artsy hotel with lots to love. The rooms were well equipped, clean, great beds, good computer access. The sculpture garden inside the hotel was neat. The rooftop pool and hot tub were super and the view was awesome - especially at night. The staff was attentive and kind. I really liked the hand blown glass work and the moving birds of paradise fountain. I'd highly recommend Renaissance Arts to anyone! I just wish we could have stayed longer.”

“I enjoyed my stay for the most part. The vicinity of the hotel was disastrous, because there was street blocked off in a different direction everyday near the entrance to the hotel. But, the service at their Starbucks was pleasurable, above average and the area clean. I had coffee there everyday. I was somewhat disappointed in the lack of cleanliness in the lobby area near the lounge. The room upholstery had stains as well as the carpet with its fresh stains. Inconsistent room cleanliness daily, on reporting to front desk, the situation was rectified as requested. The hotel staff seem to be helpful and pleasant.”

“Beautiful hotel, with a nice location. Not quite as nice as competitors on Canal Street. The staff was polite and helpful, although they were not the most efficient at working their check-in computers. Parking was easy and had a moderately cheap rate of only $28 for overnight guests.”

“The warehouse district of New Orleans is a real gem. Lot's of small, very good, restaurants within walking distance. Removed from the noise of the French Quarter yet well within walking distance. The staff was friendly, helpful, courteous and genuine. The room was smaller then I expected, yet well laid out and well decorated. The bed was comfortable and the towels plentiful.”

“The lobby was a great place to chill and relax. Me and my 5 friends fit in the bathroom comfortably and the great 3 mirrors in the room help when you have nothing but girls in the room trying to get ready. The hotel was clean and check-in was a breeze, so was check out. I would recommend this to any one who has no car and wants to explore New Orleans. It was great walking distance from everything. I just wish when I called for more towels it did not take 2 hours for someone to come. Also the air conditioner was not in the best place, but the room was still a nice temperature. And Bourbon street and canal street is right around the corner. Lastly, if you want some good chocolate go to a place on N. Peter street and Decatur street called Southern Candy makers.”

“I was very pleased with my room. The lobby and other public areas were lovely. A prior occupant stole a painting/picture from the wall of my room leaving behind a hole. The carpet in my room needed a cleaning in the entry way area. Still, all in all it was a nice stay.”

“I loved everything about the hotel except the price for parking. I choose to valet park one night, and then move my car to the street during the weekend, when parking was free. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They immediately got a refrigerator and microwave upon my arrival at my request. The room was immaculate as well as the service. I would highly recommend this to anyone.”

“Incredible quality art abounds throughout this hotel, starting with the large glass sculptures on the lobby ceiling. Even the bathroom had 3-D art. Staff was competent, and the restaurant has to be one of the better hotel dining spots in a city known for eating.”

“The outside is fair for a 4 star hotel, but we were delighted with the decor of the place. Exquisite artwork --even the carpet is a piece of art.”

“This was the first time in a long time that Ive stayed at a hotel that required a fee for broadband internet access. As a software developer, I was very disappointed. But outside of that, the rooms were nice and the hotel staff was very accommodating.”
