• The staff is exceptional.
• Room was showing a little age.

“This is a great hotel for one night or several if you are on business. It is also very conducive for meeting clients given the various areas that are comfortable and allow for one on one conversations.”

• The rooms have been recently been redecorated and they are incredible sheets!
• Self parking price - $13/night.

• Car service took me to shops and meetings free of charge.
• Buffet breakfast was average at best, don't like being asked to tip for self service breakfast.

• The location, cleanliness, location, staff.
• Hotel allows dogs, which is fine because I have one, but they should not be allowed to bark all night. Noise control poor.

“The stay was great, however there was a convention at the hotel that weekend, the guest at the convention were extremely rude and inconsiderate. They came to their rooms 3 am very loud. One person even banged on our door and then said sorry wrong room, must be the next door. I know they cannot control that but somehow monitor noise control and ask guest to respect other guest in hotel. Also, there was a dog that barked all night, can you say mussel (sp).”

• Fabulous location. Close to great food and shopping.
• Loved everything.

“Wonderful. Easy to find and convenient to great shopping and good food. The rooms were beautiful and spotless. Free wireless and well organized desk space and ample, well placed plugs for computer and cell phone charging. Heavenly feather pillows and lush down comforter. Friendly staff. I will be back.”

• Housekeeper staff slamming doors at 7:30 AM.

“Overall was a good experience however hotel needs to train housekeeping staff not to slam doors during morning cleanup, it was very annoying hearing the loud noise when I was trying to sleep in the early morning.”

• Paid parking, paid internet, property beginning to look dated.

“Perfect location in the Galleria area. Friendly staff. The rooms have been fairly recently remodeled, but they stopped short, and a few things about the rooms still appear very dated (bathroom tile, ceilings, etc).”

• It was a cozy room. They did give us a fridge and a microwave.
• The charges for parking, it was very loud and the doors slammed and woke up our baby.

“The parking was very expensive. They charged sales tax on top of it. I have lived in Texas a long time and have not had to pay sales tax on parking. They also charge 10.00 for the internet.”

• Great service, very clean, pretty surroundings, roomy and especially liked bathroom design. Balcony!
• I liked everything.

• The pool was not as pretty as other pools I've seen before.

• Very comfortable beds, large clean rooms, functional air conditioning.
• Nothing.

“We arrived very late and very tired. We were extremely pleased with the size and cleanliness of the room. But most important to us on this visit to Houston was the great beds. They were so very comfortable; we woke rested and refreshed. The location near the Galleria is very convenient.”

• No free wireless internet (these days even small hotel are providing those).
