  • Beautiful room. Great service from hotel staff. Concierge was the best!
  • Parking was very expensive $28/day + tips.

“Beautiful hotel within just a few blocks of 6th Street. Our room was a little on the small side, but beautifully furnished, great bed, nice atrium view from corner window. Hotel staff is very friendly. Be prepared for expensive parking!”

  • Good location.
  • Construction.

“Wish there had been notice of construction going on at hotel from 8 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, it was so loud that we had to leave our room.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Clean, luxurious, helpful, professional, easy in and out with underground parking, beautiful, good location.
  • There was nothing I did not like about this hotel.

“Located in Downtown office was not far from Capitol offices and apparently downtown events - there were two charity runs in the 5 days we were in Austin. All hotel staff was courteous, helpful, eager and professional. The glass atrium lets you enjoy all the Texas Sun without the heat in a luxurious lobby with an open plan between the restaurant, bar and seating, making a great, relaxing meeting place with small shops and businesses surrounding. Our room looked out over the lobby to the offices across the atrium. Business oriented but not at the expense of the leisure traveler. There's even a Starbucks in the lobby for those on the run. Nice LCD TV, lock safe in room, well stocked mini-bar, underground parking with elevator direct to lobby was easy in and out with hotel pass. Notice 7th Street exit goes East while 8th Street goes West. I almost forgot, it was probably the most comfortable bed I've ever climbed into. I'd love to stay here again.”

  • The bed and bedding was very comfortable.
  • The front desk staff was not helpful.

“The room was clean an comfortable. The staff was not helpful at the front desk - gave us a hard time when we were discussing parking and fees. I would not stay here again.”

  • Clean and attractive.
  • Breakfast was too expensive.

“The hotel was great, however, the City of Austin shut down all the streets leading to or from it on three days of Labor Day Weekend, meaning you couldn't get away from the hotel after 10am and could get back before 8:30pm.”

  • It is beautiful!
  • Nothing.

“Great hotel, great location. Great staff, great rooms. They even have LCD TVs which really surprised me. Pool and hot tub on the roof with a bar!”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Convenient location.
  • $25 valet.

“Location can't be beat, right in the middle of downtown Austin you can get to most everything without driving. Hotel itself is clean. Jacuzzi tub was a nice touch. $25/day for valet parking though; so keep that in mind.”

Cleanliness:[5] • Staff:[4] • Location:[5]

  • Massage and sauna to help relax the tension caused by the stay.
  • Parking was ridiculously over charged. Security was rude.

“This hotel is in an area in which a lot of twenty something's party. The music was loud down the street and the rudeness of the security people was in question. The only thing that was good really was the massage I received by Cory, due to the tension caused by the stay. The parking charge of 54.00 for two days stay is outrageous. The room was nothing. I would rate it a 2 maybe 3 at best. This hotel would be good for partying teens and twenty something's, and over night business people. Not a place I would recommend for leisure travelers.”

Cleanliness:[9] • Staff:[9] • Location:[9]

  • Location.
  • Loud drunks in hall at 4 AM. Loud drunks in lobby cheering a wedding.

“We usually stay at this hotel and are very impressed. However, this time was awful. There were loud drunk people running up and down the hall at 4 AM. There was a loud crowd cheering and making noise in the lobby for what looked like a wedding reception (11:30 PM). The refrigerator was not cold, so we could not store baby bottles inside it. The TV did not work at first. A technician had to come in and wiggle the wires to make it work.”

  • Close to 6th street.
  • It was also close to the homeless shelter.

“This was a nice hotel, just a block from 6th street. Beware, it is also just two blocks from a homeless shelter. Room was nice, the bed was comfortable, but the pool/Jacuzzi area was small.”

  • The hotel is beautiful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The location is outstanding just a few blocks from 6th street.
  • The AC in the room would not effectively adjust to temperature settings.

“Overall the hotel was beautiful and the staff was extremely helpful and cheery. I loved the roof top hot tub. My husband and I went to the hot tub to watch the sunrise, it was awesome.”

  • The room was a 4 star, clean and an updated comfortable mattress.
  • The late night partiers and the parking expense.

“The hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Austin. The room we stayed in was very clean with updated TV and bed. Beware of the late night partiers staggering to there room and $18 a day parking.”

  • I really loved the location and interior of the hotel.
  • It was a little loud at night.

“This hotel is very close in proximity to dining and nightlife. However if you are looking for a quiet stay I would not recommend it, it did get a little noisy in the evening. The interior of the hotel is very nice with plenty of amenities.”

Cleanliness:[1] • Staff:[3] • Location:[7]

  • I liked the location and the roof top pool.
  • The employees were not that helpful when I had an issue.

“The hotel is nice. But, our bed sheets were dirty! I didn't notice until the next morning because we had gone out that night for my boyfriend's birthday and got home late. I notified the staff and house cleaning came up, took a look, and did nothing about. I will never recommend that hotel to anyone due to their lack of customer service.”
