• The food at the restaurant was good but very expensive.
• The elevators do not work, not fair with all clients & hotel restroom were dirty.

“The food at the restaurant was good but very expensive. The elevators do not work, not fair with all clients & hotel restroom were dirty. There were spider webs in our restrooms and it was very cold in the room. The location was very good it was nearby 2 malls and other restaurants. Do not go to TGI Fridays our waitress did not wash her hands! Warning! Overall it was an ok visit with the exception of the stuck elevators and no air in the elevators and we were late 30 minutes to where we had to go to. They also did not offer anything for our suffering.”

• Beautiful pool area (overall beauty of hotel and room).
• Our room had a couple of minor maintenance issues.

“We were very happy with the beauty of the hotel, inside and out, especially the pool area and room. The friendly and helpful staff made up for a couple of minor maintenance issues. I especially appreciated the coffee service with liquid creamer. Coffee and cookies go so well together for a late night snack.”

• Perfectly adequate for my purposes.
• The large outdoor sign was unlit, which made finding the hotel difficult at night.

“Nicely designed hotel overall, well-appointed rooms (though mine felt a bit on the small side). Not overly elegant, but certainly upscale. Very comfortable and functional. I'd definitely consider it again if staying in the San Antonio area. The only negatives were:1. The unlit sign on the street which made it difficult to find in the dark (I almost drove past, since there was a lighted restaurant sign just below it on the same supports).2. Some of the bathroom fixtures seemed a bit worse for wear and should probably be replaced/upgraded to give a better impression of quality.”

• The cookies given at check in were delicious.
• Sand in the bed sheets, small bathroom, AC temperature was poor.

“We were unable to cool the room off, the AC unit could not keep the room about 77-78 degrees, the bathroom was tiny, very limited cable channels, we found sand in one of the beds but because it was late at night, we just slept on top of the covers.”

• Like the furniture in the rooms and they did not smell old and musty.
• AC was not cooling that well.

“Hotel was definitely good for the price. It was better than the previous two hotels I had stayed while in San Antonio. The only negative was that the AC was not cooling that well and got a bit hot. Pleasant stay.”

“Need more coffee cups. The cups were only good for 1 drink in the morning. No extra cups for tea or coffee in the afternoon. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.”

• Hotel had a nice reception and the pool area. It was comfortable. Toiletries were nice.
• The rooms looked old. The plumbing and electrical outlets were coming out.

• Nice open lobby; beautiful pool.
• Location somewhat hard to get to.

“Pros: Short drive to downtown San Antonio; decent breakfast buffer, though pricy. Beautiful garden level pool. Cons: Experience could have been better if hotel would honor Hilton Honors Gold VIP status. Cable channel selections were limited, and the signal reception poor. The rooms were equipped with flat panel TVs, however.”

• Internet slow and cumbersome, Business room occupied with kids!

“Location is tough to get to, internet issues from wireless to plug in. Not good. The rooms ok but windows open to walk way so curtains need to close to avoid people walking and looking in. Suppose to be a good hotel.”

• Attractive adobe style.
• It's 100 degrees in San Antonio. A/C in both our rooms struggled at best to bring temperature to 85.

“Hotel is very attractive. Not very friendly, but they do give you a cookie. Difficult to get to with construction. The biggest problem is A/C system. I didn't complain because both my rooms had problems, I knew it was an overall condition. Just dealt with it. Also 2 bed rooms are doubles, not queens. Only 1 to a bed.”

• Very noisy, can hear all hallway traffic.

“The hotel itself is very appealing. The staff is very helpful and friendly. My only discomfort was that I could hear all hallway traffic noise. Maybe the room location had something to do with it. Overall very satisfied.”
