  • The best thing about the hotel is its location. Also, the staff was extremely helpful.
  • Our air conditioner in our room did not work properly, but they moved us to another room, which was much bigger and better.

“Overall, great experience. We'll probably stay there again.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • I like the convenience, safety, and general hospitality.
  • The double queen rooms are small, but it this is a minor inconvenience.

“After staying at eight or more local inns or hotels, the inn of the governors has proven to be the best value. It is convenient, safe, very nice, and suits our needs very well. The afternoon sherry and tea are delightful, and the breakfast is great. We discovered the restaurant on this last visit and also thought it was great. I will always choose the inn of the governors as my first choice in Santa Fe!”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • The big fluffy towels for the pool and the internet in the lobby.
  • No paper delivered to the room is the worst I can come up with.

“We enjoyed so many aspects of this great hotel. The decor made the whole experience so rich - every detail was a treat. For some reason we were upgraded to a kiva mini-suite when we checked in, and having a toasty fire was so much fun. The free breakfast buffet included so much - hot and cold cereals, two kinds of eggs, great coffee, potatoes, sweet rolls, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and on and on. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and the staff sophisticated and eager to please. I would love to go back. Oh, and the pool was so quiet and private and nicely landscaped, we enjoyed just hiding out there and looking at the stars one night.”

Cleanliness:[6] • Staff:[6] • Location:[9]

  • Great location, good breakfast, friendly staff.
  • Over-priced for the quality of room.

“For the reputation of being somewhat upscale, this hotel was a disappointment. The room was on the small end of the scale, the AC had a hard time keeping up with the heat.”

Cleanliness:[10] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Excellent breakfast and location.
  • Showers need more water pressure. The bar charged us 00 more per drink, to place the drink in a plastic container to take to the pool.

“Excellent location, the hotel is beautiful, full breakfast included in price. Highly recommend.”

Cleanliness:[8] • Staff:[10] • Location:[10]

  • Tastefully decorated room.
  • The lighting over the mirror in the bathroom was too low. Anyone 6 feet tall or taller has to crouch down.

“Great location with a friendly & professional staff who went out of their way to make me feel at home.”

Cleanliness:[7] • Staff:[9] • Location:[10]

  • Outdoors restaurant and lobby romantic, free and good quality breakfast and hot chocolate in eve.
  • Outdoor pool and corridors, motel-like rooms, bad toilet.

“Outdoors restaurant and lobby romantic, free and good quality hot breakfast and hot chocolate in eve. Good walking distance to center of town. Room furnishings were interesting but room was small and motel-like. Toilet clogged and overflowed. Outdoor corridors cold in winter! Outdoor pool should be enclosed for winter like the patio was.”
