• Beds were very comfortable and close walking distance to The Plaza in Santa Fe, NM.
• Update the parking lot with new signs.

“Excellent place to stay. Clean room and comfortable beds. Close walking distance to The Plaza, museums and shops. Will definitely stay here again!”

• Bad customer service, horrible parking and broken Jacuzzi.

• Lobby was nice.
• Not very clean.

“This hotel had a very tired appearance once one stepped beyond the lobby area. This wearied look extended to the outside of the hotel which is very visible on three sides and was nearly barren while all of the other hotels in the Plaza area had lovely planters overflowing with colorful flowers. Especially surprising was the lack of any plantings or flowers in the central pool courtyard and the filthy stairwells. (Take the elevators!) The staff was helpful when approached for information on several occasions but it is surprising that this facility bears the Hilton name.”

• Allowed us to check-in 90 minutes early.
• Hot tub out of order, stained carpets and ceilings, springy mattresses.

“The hot tub was out of service, so we were disappointed in that. The so-called renovated room was a joke; although perhaps removing the bedspreads and placing a third sheet with holes in it over the blanket is a renovation to the owners. Trash left in hallways all night, and the view from our room of the banquet server standing next to the dumpster with the flies buzzing around the food to be served in heated buffet trays surely turned our stomach to the thought of eating in one of the hotel restaurants.”

• The staff was all very nice.
• The housekeeping service was bad, had to ask for toilet paper and towels.

“Overall everyone was very nice. However the housekeeping was strange. We had to request toilet paper and bath towels.”

• I liked how close the hotel was to the plaza!
• I felt that the hotel lacked personality.

“As for location my husband and I liked the hotel but other than that we choose not to eat at the restaurant due to them only having 2 tables seated at prime dinner time. When we asked about events at the desk we were told we could ask the concierge who was never at there desk.”

• The location was fabulous; the cold beverage and fruit provided in the lobby was an added treat.
• It took several calls to the front desk to have a refrigerator placed in our room.

“Very nice. However, when we used the Business Center we felt that the cost of printing was a bit excessive.”

“It is what it is. It doesn't live up to the Hilton name, but as long as you can overlook that, the location is outstanding. The location can't be beat. I would stay here again.”

• The location was wonderful.
• Nothing.

“This was a friendly and convenient hotel with good facilities. The room was large and pleasant. Parking was available although it cost a bit too much. The staff was excellent. Highly recommended.”

• Ambience and convenience to Historic Center!
• Air conditioning seemed to be faulty.

“We would definitely stay there again. It was in the best location to walk to all of the galleries, shops and the historic square. The lobby was great. Greeting people with a beautiful adobe fireplace, comfortable seating areas, fresh fruit and ice water station and the ambience of New Mexico. No view from the hotel windows but we didn't need one since we were out walking in Santa Fe!”

• Fridge in room. Swimming pool. Location.
• Feels less Hilton, more Hampton Inn.

“You cannot beat the location - downtown Santa Fe, a very short walk to everything Santa Fe and if you need a room that is above average, this is your place. But if you expect what you normally expect from a Hilton, you might be disappointed.”

“Small rooms, small public space. No bottled water in rooms. Very unusual for Santa Fe. No in room bar or fridge. Seems cheap.”

• The beds were comfortable and the room was adequate.
• The carpet was disgusting, dirty and old.

“The hotel staff was helpful. The room was okay but the carpet was so hideous it detracted from the room.”

• It was so pretty! The location was great and the rooms were very nice too.
• There was a charge for wireless internet.

“The hotel was super nice! The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, well equipped (you even got mouthwash and robes), and nicely done. The lobby was decorated quite nicely. Although we didn't have a chance to eat in the restaurants, they looked lovely. We would gladly stay here again. Our only gripe was the charge for wireless internet.”

• House cleaning didn't leave cups for brushing teeth or hand cream.

“The Hilton was an adequate place to stay but the place really needs to be updated in appearance and facilities. Except for the nice beds and TV, it did not feel like a 3 star hotel.”

• The front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room and lobby were beautiful as was the pool and outdoor fireplace area.
• Loved it all.

“The hotel was located a short walk from the plaza/lots of great restaurants and shops. The hotel staff was friendly, very helpful with directions and suggestions for places to eat. The hotel lobby was beautiful and offered lemonade and fruit. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The outdoor heated pool, hot tub and fireplace were clean, well maintained and a perfect spot for winding down for the adults and the children. Thanks!”

• It would have been nice to have a free breakfast!
