“We had a wonderful experience at the Peppermill. We did pay for an upgrade room when we arrived so that we would be in the new Tuscany Tower. The rooms in the Tuscany are 4 star! We were very impressed with the Biscotti restaurant and also the Steak House located at the Peppermill.”

“I liked the Peppermill as a whole, I would stay there again. There was nothing so special about the room in the Tuscan Tower. The checkout process was confusing, they were very accommodating at check in but when it came time to check out it was not as convenient as check out at other hotels I have stayed in.”

“We stayed in the new Tuscany Tower, and had a beautiful room, two king beds with wonderful mattresses, and a huge flat-screen TV. The bathroom included a Jacuzzi tub, two sinks, lots of marble and tile, and another flat-screen TV. The view down to the new pool area is beautiful, even though the pool area is still under construction.”

“The upgraded room was beautiful. I had a great view of Mt. Rose up near Tahoe but only because my son lives in Reno and asked for that view. The Montego Bay building was a stories back in the service area without views.”

“The rooms were very nice I would rate them 4 star. Casino was fun and kept us playing. The BBQ Restaurant was awesome! But the service of the hotel staff and coffee shop staff left a negative mark on our stay. 8:30 am Sunday morning house keeping entered our room without a knock! Opened the door and then announced housekeeping! We were told to come back 3 times before our room was ready front desk person accused the other front desk person of not doing her job right in front of us when in fact I witnessed that person do what she was supposed to do. Bell staff very unfriendly. Coffee shop was very unorganized and unhappy doing their jobs. Valet was super efficient, friendly and professional. That Department must have a good manager!”

“The location is very good in Reno, but you do have to use your car for getting downtown Reno. We were very upset about a charge for a minibar item that we did not take. We called three different times to no avail the accounting staff did not call back two of the times and the third person would not take the charge off the charge.”

“A bright and clean hotel. The Reno casino scene was a bit overpowering, but OK if not with children, who felt out of place. The rooms were clean and newly decorated in cheesy Vegas style luxury. The hallways and walks to rooms were too long. The restaurants were good. I'd stay their again for a night.”

“Nice place to stay. Room had just been remodeled and was very comfortable. Construction was going on but workers were leaving for the day as we arrived and we had no problem. Food at cafe was reasonably priced. We were just passing through Reno so our stay was overnight only.”

“I will be anxious to see the hotel after the current construction is completed, as I believe the new areas may provide more adult swimming areas and other amenities in the spa area. I would like to see some less expensive shops for more mundane purchases. Overall my 3 day stay was enjoyable.”

“A good quiet, out of the way resort for the romantic. 10 restaurants to choose from was very convenient. Slot machines were of poor quality and selection. Black jack was fine. I'll be back.”
