• I liked the friendly staff.
• Air conditioner did not work in room and no extra pillows.

“This was my second stay in this hotel. Something is always broken or not working. This time it was the air conditioner in the room and the first time it was the refrigerator. I did appreciate the free internet compensation though. The staff was friendly and helpful even if they were unable to fix the AC and it was too late at night to change to a different room. Overall, the hotel is clean and the location is good. I just wish they would keep up on their maintenance a little better.”

• It was quiet.
• For an extended stay hotel with a kitchenette should not there be a table to eat from.

“Aside from no stand to put luggage or no table to eat from it was not bad stay.”

• Outside of hotel is very messy.
• It's hidden.

“I like the price but Crosland lacks the iron and ironing board like Extended Stay America normally had. I expected to see one as I've always had at all extended stays that I have stayed at and did not find one to use so my clothes were a mess. I thought that Crosland and extended stay is the same. Now I know.”

• Quiet.
• Maid survive if you stay a week or more I stayed 4 nights.

“Only good for the business traveler, one night you have to go to the office everyday to get coffee, towels etc. No iron in the room and not enough to loan out. The heater/air did not work. If you go with a spouse the bedroom is so small.”

• The staff was helpful.
• Bed was too small and too hard. A/C unit was very noisy.

“Think tiny. Thats what the room was. Think cheapo. Want amenities? Go elsewhere. It was clean, and that is a plus.”

• The young man on duty the night we checked in was helpful for the most part.
• We went during winter and the heater did not work! We were quite miserable. Additionally, the hot water heater didn't work well. The list just went on.

“I was quite disappointed in my stay at this hotel. We got back late at night only to come back to a heater that was blowing cold air. Thankfully we had brought an extra blanket but it was still a chilly night. Additionally, in the morning when we went to take showers, we were lucky to get luke warm water. I knew we weren't going to a really nice place, but I at least expected heat! My list goes on but I'll stop there.”

• It was conveniently located, and the room was clean.
• There were very few amenities in the room. It was bare bones.

“Having stayed in the extended stay America chain across the country, I was expecting the same quality at this hotel, as it belongs to that chain. The male staff that checked us in was very obviously on drugs and he was arranging for a score with his dealer when we walked in. This dealer was hanging around for the duration of our stay. The room was clean but very small, with a very small and hard double bed. There were very few amenities in the room, even something as basic as enough soap and a hairdryer. It seemed to be the location of choice for the party goers on sat night as well.”

• For a one star, the room was nice, clean and had everything we needed. Having a kitchen was nice too!
• It was obvious that people live here, and some were sitting outside drinking and smoking cigars.

“For the price and star rating, we were very pleased with the overall appearance of the outside and inside of the hotel. The rooms were clean and having a kitchen was very nice. We would likely stay here again. My only gripes are that the bed was very hard and that the smoking and drinking of other guests outside my room were not very desirable for my young child and I.”

• Staff were friendly, Clean Kitchen, Had safe deposit boxes. loaned me a ironing board.
• Too many locals staying long term, 1/2 the washing machines didn't work, Blankets and spreads were unclean though changed when asked, one luggage cart.

“Overall for a inexpensive hotel, I would rate it better than Motel 6. The kitchen was well equiped for two. My only fault with cleanliness was that the bed speads were dirty when flipped down and the blankets had those unmistakable white tracks on them. (most hotels do not wash them often enough) They were immediately changed out when I complained. I found the beds way too hard for me, (I'm a side sleeper). The staff were very friendly and I found the room to be clean other than what was mentioned above.”

• Dirty, noisy and very small rooms.

“My first room had a foul smelling refrigerator. I was put into another room that smelled like Lysol and cigarettes smoke. The hallways were dirty with cigarette butts laying around. At 11 pm a large group kids were running up and down the hallways until after 12 pm. This hotel appeared to be used for low income housing with people sitting in the walk ways, in the doorways etc. This was the worst hotel experience I have had in quite a few years. The Extended Stay name is prominently shown on the property but this hotel is a clearly far below their normal quality.”

• The location was good.
• No ice machine, no coffee packets for coffee maker in room, no paper/pen in room, no soda machine.

“No toiletries, no ice machine, no coffee for coffee maker in room, no paper pad or pen, no informational packet on what the hotel offers, NOTHING!!”

• None.
• The elevator was almost always smelling like cigarette smoke, the buttons for selecting the desired floor was difficult to use.

“I could smell the cigarette smoke thru-out the complex, my sinus problem really flared up.”

• Bed was very firm.

“We checked in at 1:30 am and the desk clerk was extremely nice and very helpful. Hotel was very clean. It was just remodeled. Not elaborate. Very clean.”
