• The beds and pillows and towels were super comfortable.
• Having to pay for parking, no free breakfast, would have liked a cookie, or mint each day.

“Clean, close to the airport. You have to pay $17.44 a day for parking. The Jacuzzi was smelly, but still comfortable, the bedding was great.”

• The beds and pillows were wonderful.
• Hotel needs to have better room directions inside the Hotel.

• Staff was friendly, but didn't know their own structures. Refused to credit Hilton Honors.
• They didn't know the closest entrances to our room.

“I was traveling with a handicapped person with oxygen tanks. I asked at the desk for the closest entrance/exit to our room & was told there wasn't one. She directed me to a specific door. After walking down a very long hall, we came to a much closer entrance. The next morning I found another entrance only 1 room away from ours. Unbelievable! Parking was $17 additional charge.”

• Wonderfully large rooms, with super clean and comfortable beds.
• Parking at $15 a day? No thanks, they had plenty of empty spaces!

“The Doubletree was not only right next to the hotel, but was a delightful place to stay. We liked it so much. It was the nicest hotel of our 2 week vacation!”

• Comfortable beds, very clean.
• Expensive parking.

“We really liked this hotel. The beds were very comfortable (as they usually are at Hilton partner hotels). The staff was pretty friendly. The hotel was very clean. It was about 20 minutes to downtown Seattle, but very close to the airport. The location was perfect for us! The concierge was able to recommend a good restaurant in Downtown Seattle, though he wasn't the most polite one I have ever dealt with. Doesn't matter, he did his job well anyhow! The only complaint that we had about the hotel was that there was parking fee of $16 plus tax, we got a very good room and it was well worth it!”

• No concerns whatsoever.

“The Doubletree continues to be my favorite Se-Tac hotel. Good sized room with comfortable bed and easy chair, (stick in an ottoman and I'd be really happy.) Restaurant was great, good food and fairly priced. Staff accommodated my request for a room near the lobby. Couldn't be more pleased.”

• The staff is slow and fails to provide hospitable service.

“This hotel is a labyrinth of hallways and elevators. Upon check-in, the concierge furnishes guests with a map in which the traveler is forced to navigate through arrows and veering hallways, which is as much guesswork as sheer luck. Given the initial positive impression from the comfortable luxury of the lobby, a traveler is sorely mistaken when directed to find their room. Make no mistake, allocate at least ten to fifteen minutes and a bottled water for the hike.”

• The bed linens was excellent.
• Cost to use a computer.

“Great time and enjoyed my stay. It really isn't necessary to charge for computer usage. Would give low rating for business traveler due to this charge.”

• Very well appointed, sitting areas very nice.
• Paying almost $15/night to park $18/day rental car!

“Hotel is very large, lovely grounds and interior sported lots of nice groupings of tables/chairs in which to hang out with others. Warm cookie handed out at check-in was great (just a nice little extra - not a reason to stay at a particular hotel of course). Not pleased with nearly $15/day charge to park my $18/day rental car! Internet to the room is $10/day.”

• My room could not have been any farther from the lobby and elevators, it was a long and confusing maze to get there.

• The beds are so comfy!
• No check-in information about after hours food service.

“It is so comfortable, the staff is all friendly and they give you a warm cookie upon arrival (this time they were out of cookies). I appreciate the friendly 24-hr shuttle staff. Overall, we would like to stay at this hotel only, every time we travel through Seattle. I would just like more information on the pools, how to get there sort of thing.”

• Great location, friendly staff, responsive door men and bell hop. Very attentive housekeeping.
• The hotel could not provide a wheelchair for my elderly mother. We were on the second floor at the end of a wing.

“Very pleasant older hotel. Our room was clean and fairly large, however, the room was located on the second floor at the end of a wing. I was traveling with my elderly mother. We were flying in and out of SeaTac and did not have a wheelchair of our own. The hotel could not provide one. First we were told that the wheelchairs were being used by a veterans attending a convention, then we were told that the hotel did not have wheelchairs. We used the desk chair from our room to move my mother from our room to the lobby. Tacky, but effective. However, we were told that we could not use the room chair due to liability issues. We were told by the concierge that a wheelchair would be provided. It never materialized. I found a wheelchair at another facility and borrowed it for use at the hotel. When the concierge saw my mother in a wheelchair, she cheerfully said "Oh, I see you found a wheelchair" as if she hadn't promised to send one up to the room. Would I stay again? Probably. Just not very handicap friendly.”

• Hotel staff was responsive to lack of cleanliness of room and addressed it promptly.
• The sheets were dirty.

“The sheets were dirty. It appeared to be gum on the sheets that the cleaning staff didn't notice when making up the beds. The desk manager was very good about addressing the problem right away. Of course, we didn't find out about the dirty sheets until we went to bed, and then it took about 30 minutes to change the beds. The staff was very sincere about their apology.”
