• It was attractive, perfectly located for my needs, very customer oriented.
• Nothing.

“The Monaco is located right in the center of Seattle activity. It is very attractively decorated and places a premium on customer service. I loved the complimentary wine reception in the evenings and the well equipped bathrooms. All the staff were exceptionally friendly without being intrusive. Very helpful in terms of getting us restaurant reservations and providing other information.”

“Good location (in the downtown, 15-20 minutes to Safeco field, right next to Starbucks and Seattles best coffee), good house keepings, clean bathroom.”

• The restaurant was okay; we ate breakfast there.

“I found their email response very poor. We received what was called a "king room"; it had a queen sized bed.”

• Close to Downtown, suites and themes are excellent.
• Valet parking rate very expensive $40/day.

“Great hotel, staff friendly. Rooms are nice but the views are all blocked by buildings (even the 10th which we were on). Valet parking is the only available option and is.”

• The room was comfortable and charming.
• Noisy people in room next door TV on late and therefore I did not sleep. The room had an adjoining door which made it louder.

“Small hotel with nice decor. Some city street noise but overall very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Convenient location Easy walk to city stores, Pike Market and water-front. I would stay here again.”

• Sazarac food might be trendy; but nothing on menu for average American food.

“I loved this hotel; I would rate it "best ever" of any I've stayed at in Seattle. The checking staff gave me best room available on 10th floor. They had cute fish bowls you could take into your room; very nice ambiance. Would have preferred white terry cloth robes to leopard skins. If they had a spa tub in the bathroom, that would have made it the ultimate ever.”

• Very quiet and with a lot of charm, easy access too much of Downtown area.
• Ventilation system smelled bad from a smoker in another room first night.

“Charming and inviting lobby area with a 5-6 pm wine sampler happy hour. Very quiet rooms with comfy beds and in excellent cared for condition. I would highly recommend this property for anyone, unless they are too good for a more casual yet elegant atmosphere.”

• It is very eclectic and the staff is friendly. I also like the daily happy hours and think that's a great way to meet people.
• The noise of traffic outside.

“This is a very neat hotel in the heart of Seattle. I would definitely stay there again. Great rooms, great staff, and great hospitality.”

“Convenient location that is walk able distance to many tourist attractions. Staff is very helpful in accommodating their guests and with answering any questions guests have about the hotel or Seattle.”

• Excellent staff, super service, great location, fabulous Italian restaurant; Vinetos one block away, complimentary wine daily - Fabulous Hotel.
• Due to adjacent buildings, most rooms lack a view.

“Extraordinary service, especially Valet parking guys, great recommendations for dining, easy walking to Pike's Market, some excellent restaurants nearby. This hotel offers a daily wine/beer reception in lobby. The restaurant in building is reasonably priced for upscale menu. Loved the location, decor in rooms is funky and brightly colored. Exceptionally clean rooms, large bathroom, very comfortable bed and linens. Flat screen TV, wireless internet was free. I loved this hotel.”

• I've stayed here several times. Each time I get the royal treatment, and everyone is super attentive and friendly.
• I needed two beds this time, so got put on a floor with no view of the city at all.

“I love this hotel. The location is fabulous, the restaurant was fine (not great, but good), and there's a Starbuck's right next door. How can you beat that? Their car valets are super efficient and friendly, as is the front desk. All in all, a great place.”

“This hotel as AMAZING. The room was fabulous, and the customer service was impeccable. We were on our way to dinner and it was drizzling outside and the valet went out of his way to get us umbrellas when we didn't even ask! I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to EVERYONE. It was an awesome experience.”
