• Modern rooms.
• Slow elevators.

“Stayed in the south tower, AC was loud both nights, but the room was comfortable. Location was only a few short blocks from Pike's Place.”

• What a great location! We walked everywhere from this hotel.
• I'm only sorry we could not have stayed longer.

“If you are looking for a great hotel near sightseeing, shopping and restaurants, then this is the place for you. We had a wonderful stay and the staff was helpful in every way.”

• The staff was professional and helpful. It was very clean.
• It sits on the technical outskirts of the downtown area in an isolated area.

“The hotel is not in the downtown area, although it is within walking distance for some, not for others. The staff was very accommodating. It was clean and that is important to me. The one and only restaurant next door is average.”

• Exceptional customer service and incredible view and location.
• Parking fee.

“The first night we were kept awake all night by loud neighbors. The next morning the manager had moved us to another room, with an incredible view. The concierge folks were outstanding. Did not expect the kind of service we got at such a large hotel. Very well run!”

“The hotel is in a fantastic location and within walking distance to most of the places we had on our itinerary. It is a very nice hotel and I would recommend it to anyone who plans on visiting Seattle.”

• Great location. Close to all attractions.
• Room had a lousy view (of a wall). The vicinity has a lot of vagrants.

“The hotel is situated in downtown Seattle close to other hotels. At times it seemed like there were more tourists on the streets than natives. The room was ok, but the view was awful (of a wall connecting the two towers. I suggest staying on any floor above the 6th & 7th if looking for a view of anything. Overall, great for the business traveler and any leisure traveler who wants to be close to shopping and all major attractions. The monorail to the space needle was right across the street. Would recommend the hotel.”

• Location. The views from the room were awesome.
• Very busy with conventions.

“I would highly recommend. The staff, service, room, housekeeping, almost everything was effortless and the location to downtown shopping was perfect. Will stay here again many times I hope.”

• System down at checkout so no way to check bill.

“We stayed here after an Alaskan cruise and it was an easy (and inexpensive!). Room was clean and bright, staff was helpful and our only complaint would be that the number of elevators did not seem sufficient (we were in the South Tower). We had to wait for 3 full elevators to go by before we got one with space.”

• The sheets and bed were of the highest quality.
• Nothing! It was great!

“It was one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at and that is saying a lot as I travel often and have stayed at many hotels. The thread count on the sheets was 600 or better! That says a lot. Everything was white and clean.”

• The wall bed was a disappointment/parking.

“Hotel staff was excellent. Parking was pricey but 2 options available. Internet was not included and as a business traveler and for what the hotel charges internet should be free. I would stay there again if need be.”

• Nickel and dime guest for everything.

“This is a decent hotel in Seattle, but guests should be aware that Wi-Fi is $12/day, parking is $18/day, no free breakfast. Really let down by this hotel name, and would not recommend for travelers on vacation, you can do much better!”

“Hotel is in an excellent location, easy to walk to tourist spots, and bus system easy to navigate. The lobby was a bit worn and dated. I felt it to be a good value.”

• Linens on beds were first rate; good pet policy.
• The carpet in the lobby was a disgrace.

“This hotel does not measure up to the standards a traveler would come to expect as a patron of the Westin brand. Shame on the management for letting the carpet in the lobby become embarrassingly tatty and in need of replacement. Westin should do better than this property does.”

• We were on the 38 floor and the view was a 10. Nice size room.
• Prices on snacks and beverages in the hotel are out of line, $6.5 for doughnut, $5 soda.

“The staff at the front desk and around the hotel are very nice and helpful. The location for just spending time in the city is perfect, and the views from the upper floors are hard to beat. Our room was good size and the dual shower head was great.”
