“We arrived at the hotel early at 1 P.M. and were surprised they let us check in early as our room was ready. However the staff appeared distant and not happy to see us. The room was quiet and clean but no view. Starbucks was a nice surprise. At check out we were charged for a long distance call we did not make but it was resolved. Again the staff acted superior and did not thank us for staying with them.”

“Hotel more than expected for 3 stars. Maybe its not a 4 star but it is a nice 3 star. Not too far from Union Square, very clean and the staff was great.”

“Great location for business travelers and family vacation. Close to public transit, and lots of attractions for adults within walking distance. China Town, shops, restaurants all within 1/2 - 1 mile radius of hotel. No kid friendly attractions near the hotel; but take the short ride on a cable train to Fisherman's Wharf for lots of fun for the kids.”

“I would recommend this hotel and it's location to anyone traveling to San Francisco! The Hyatt does a first class job in training employees and they collectively make you feel like you are a pleasure to serve. Really makes you feel special. We will go back again and again!”

“Hotel was nice, met expectations. Flat screen Plasma TV was nice, but the cable out put was not Hi-def (pretty grainy). Good location for SF especially if going to any Giants games, only a few blocks away from stadium. Parking was $43 per/night, hotel valet which is pretty much your best deal without spending time searching and having to walk.”

“A competent, convenient, and clean place to lay your head in San Francisco. Won't blow you away, but it has everything you need to be comfortable and feel like you are on vacation.”

“The room that I was given was large and included a 40 inch flat panel LCD which I found to be very helpful. I would definitely stay in this hotel again, the hotel was safe and if you did not have a key, you could not get in the front door.”

“Hotel is great. Very comfortable and nice sized rooms. Was a bit farther from points of interests than I thought from the information I was given when I called the hotel.”

“The hotel's amenities were good - good restaurants, starbucks in the lobby, nice pool (although way too much chlorine used.) The location might be good for business travelers, but was terrible for families as the public transportation was simply too far away to be helpful.”

“Easy to find. And once you get past the accessibility issues it was all up hill. Clean property inside and out, friendly front desk. "No stress" stays. I didn't dig the $2.50 room temp bottled water offered in each room.”

“This hotel was beautiful, upscale, close to the freeway and five blocks from where I needed to be in the morning. With all that said parking was a nightmare, unless I wanted to spend $43.00 on valet parking for overnight (not even 24 hours) and it took 45 minutes to find street parking. The hotel does not offer a continental breakfast either. There is a Starbucks in the lobby though. All in all, it may had been worth it if I had spent more than six hours at the hotel, but it was for sleeping only and the convenience did not make up for the expense.”

“It would have been a solid (and basic) 2.5 star hotel except for the noise. There were banging and mechanical noises throughout most of the night, seemingly coming from the elevator machinery. (Elevator shafts were across the hall, we were on 2nd floor from top). Also the hotel was apparently undergoing construction, as there were "work" sounds such as hammering, scraping above and beside our room throughout many hours of our stay.”
