“The hotel was clean and well kept up for the star level that it was. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. The lobby was beautiful but too hectic and did not have an inviting atmosphere: almost more like a tourist trap.”

“Not a four star. Three at best. More like a Motel. The staff at Parc 55 acted as though I were a homeless person trying to stay at the Ritz in Paris. I will not stay there again.”

“We did not stay at this hotel. They overbooked and sent us to the Clift Hotel 5 blocks away. The Clift Hotel was fabulous. The trainee at the reservation desk who checked us in at Parc 55 told us the hotel we were being moved to was across the street. It was not. We walked 3 blocks before we figured it out. They wasted our time and we did not make it to an excursion we had planned for that day because it took us so long to check into a room.”

“I loved this hotel. It was a great location for everything in SF. We went on a family vacation and enjoyed every minute of it. It had a few restaurant to choose from in the hotel which was very convenient. I would stay there again.”

“Good: Hotel in perfect location, steps from Bart and right in the middle of downtown. Room was newly renovated and bed was comfortable. Bad: Many rooms have horrible views, business center was expensive, no spa facilities.”

“We liked the location, but it was just too noisy for the price. We felt like we were in a little roadside motel on the interstate. Sirens, motorcycles, ice machine, and the windows rattled in the wind.”

“In the end, it was a great stay. The desk clerk initially tried to give me two doubles instead of the king I asked. However, she upgraded our room to a premium floor for free to give us a King Deluxe. Overall, the hotel was very nice and very clean. Very enjoyable.”

“The location is a good choice for business and for San Francisco sightseeing. The rooms are pretty and service is very good. But a large group of union members from a convention were staying there at the time we were there, which crowded the lobby and caused a long line at check-in. The staff did not speed up the line by putting more people on. Although the facility is very nice, the crowd of conventioneers made it not like a 4-star hotel.”

“The hotel is in a good central location but as such, it is also very noisy. The walls are thin and one can hear others in the hallway and sometimes from the other rooms. The coffee in the room was terrible. Very expensive place.”

“Rude staff, out dated rooms, did I say rude staff? I checked in and said the only thing I needed was a room away from the elevators as I have a sleeping issue. I had the trifecta room-right next to the elevator, ice machine and a service door! I called down to switch rooms immediately after checking in and was told all rooms were sold out. Sure! I was not born yesterday. When I checked out the front desk clerk asked how I enjoyed my stay. I responded, well, I won't be staying here again. Instead of apologizing and offering to see what happened, she gave me a rude look and kept going on with my check out. I was appalled! I have been traveling for 5 years, on an almost weekly basis and I have never had such overall rude service in a hotel. It was my first and last experience.”
