Tibidabo
Oct 12, 2008 by juanita from arnaudville
Overall Rating: 10 User Rating Score: 10

  • Like no other view I've had.
  • The shop and restrooms were closed, but it was Christmas day!

“The view was priceless and before our descent, the sun started setting. It was breath-taking and absolutely amazing! from one side you get a remarkable view of the city and from the other you get a beautiful mountainous landscape.”

Imax Port Vell

  • Location.
  • Cancellation at last minute, no damages paid.

“For august 2006 we booked their Sala Barcino for an event. Paid half upfront 6 months in advance.

Just before the event they canceled the booking and didn't offer any other solution or payment of damages.

We were stuck with 120 guests with flight bookings, hotel bookings, paid catering, music, etc.

Their reason for cancellation was the handing over of the rights to rent out Sala Barcino. After talking to the new company, they offered it for a price of around 75% more and we were not able to use our own catering anymore.

I would not advice anyone to book any events with them as you won't know if they will cancel it last minute. At the moment we are starting a court case getting our damages paid.”

Fundacio Antoni Tapies
Oct 12, 2005 by DEBARTISTE from Chicago (See all reviews by DEBARTISTE)

  • The artwork is incredible and the gallery well lit, modern and architecturally interesting.
  • Most of his posters were sold out:-)

“This is one of the finest modern art museums I've seen anywhere. Antoni Tapies is well known in Europe but not popularly known in the US. His artwork stunned me beyond words. He's fabulous. His paintings are huge in scale. He in fact, is the reason I have started painting myself. I plan to go back to Barcelona eventually and this will be the first place I visit. In the neigborhood you can also see many Antoni Gaudi buildings, which are unique only to Barcelona and worth the trip alone.”
